Pray Points

1. Isaiah 49:8 ; 2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

There is no better time than now to receive his favour, forgiveness, grace Receive God’s favour now

2. 1 Peter 1:13 - So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed.

This is no laughing matter or something to take lightly Satan is not lying low, he is ever at work, working to lay our guards down to attack our minds We need to come to a point like Paul, where it is not just the Christian language, but the experience

– Paul said he was not taught formally, he experienced Jesus In this time of so much confusion – e.g. parliament members, the missing plane etc Pray for the required diligence, self control and set our hopes on Christ’s return to sustain us.

Who does God use?????

Luke 1:26…28

Mary does not look like a likely choice for God to use to bring God’s ultimate favour to mankind – Salvation (did not belong to any royal class, or status, or education, or any special skill or influence)

Such as God will like to use today – humble and takes delight in the Lord Verse 46 – 47 – My soul doth magnify the Lord and my Spirit rejoices in God my saviour.

Pray to be used like Mary – to bring extra – ordinary things on the face of the earth

May have to endure shame and rejection

Isaiah 49:8 (b) ‘’through you I will re-establish the land of Israel and assign it to its own people again’’.

When, given, His favour is not for keeps, it is meant to bless others, to give God glory To accomplish His purpose
