Each kit has everything your installer needs to easily convert the roof of your home or business into a renewable energy power source, feeding valuable, clean energy into the electricity grid, while saving you money on your electricity bills.

The solar modules available in each Flexi Kit® are manufactured using industry leading technology. This is based on either Mono or Poly crystalline cells. Each brand is backed by a 25 year output warranty. All chosen manufacturers have been through a rigorous supplier evaluation and have world class manufacturing processes to ensure product quality is of the highest standard. Having a range of brands allows your installer to customise the Flexi Kit® to suit your roof type, roof size, and any shading issues that may be present. The inverter is a critical system component, converting the solar energy from the modules into useable household electricity and feeding that power into the grid. Your solar system is only as strong as the weakest link so it is vital to always use quality cables and connectors that will last the distance. RFI use only genuine connectors to ensure you will always achieve the best possible connectivity. The cables provided are also of the highest quality. XLS cables are used in the pre-assembled MC3 and MC4 cables and RADOX cable is used in the pre-assembled Huber & Suhner cables. Both the cables and the connectors are also available individually to allow you to assemble your own cables. Tools to ensure you always make the best connections are also available.

LV solar cables

MC Multilams are specially formed, resilient strips of copper alloy which are gold or silver-plated according to their application and are float-mounted in a groove. By its constant spring pressure the Multilam maintains continuous contact with the contact surface, resulting in a low and constant contact resistance. Multilam technology allows us to meet a very broad range of requirements and to find solutions to the most severe constraints, including electrical (up to several kA), thermal (up to 350°C) and mechanical, with contact durability of up to 1 million mating cycles.

Isolators suitable for roof top mounting array protection and as wall mounting for inverter isolation are both available, either in small IP65 cases, large IP65 DIN mounting enclosures or simply as loose devices. All isolators comply with IEC 60947.

Non-Polarised Isolators

For arrays combining 3 or more strings in parrallel, fuse protection packages should be used. These packages house positive and negative string fuses in a large, readilly accessible IP65 enclosure. Packages are available in 3 and 4 string models for 10A, 12A and 15A applications. Additional spare fuses are also available.

String Protection

Battery banks can harness very high power levels so it is important to ensure that your main battery fuse protection is up to the job. NH fuses have a proven track record in this role and come in a wide range of sizes and capacities to give you maximum flexibility in your system design. Triple fuse switches are available in sizes 00, 1, 2, 3. Individual fuses are available from as small as 10A to as large as 630A.
