March 6, 2018 Dear Parents and Guardians, Our Middle States visit went very well last week! We have been recommended for reaccreditation but will not have any final confirmation of this until October. The team members were gracious, kind and very impressed with our students, parents, faculty and staff. The Oral Report that we heard on Friday afternoon stated that “From Pre-K to eighth grade the spiritual, physical, artistic, social, language arts, mathematical and science skills as well as higher order thinking skills acquired in the classrooms enables the students to be productive and successful life-long learners.” We are grateful to have had the opportunity to go through this process not only to see how far we have come but also to determine goals and objectives for the future. Congratulations to Kari and Phil Janisse! John Paul Anthony Janisse was born last night weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz.! Mother and baby are doing well! On a sad note, our former computer teacher, Tara Hughes, passed away last evening. Miss Hughes was contracted with Computer Explorers and was assigned to our school for many years through 2015. Please keep Tara and her family in your prayers. The IOWA tests will continue throughout the week. Please encourage your child to get enough rest and to eat a healthy breakfast each morning so they are prepared for testing! Blessings, Mrs. Patricia Mancuso

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our Middle States visit went very well last week!

Blessings,

Mrs. Patricia Mancuso

We can be sure that we love God’s children when we love God and do what He has commanded. 1 John 5:2 The Office of Child and Youth Protection is announcing CAP (Child Assault Prevention) sessions. CAP is the safe environment training program for adults who have regular contact with minors. Attendance is required in order to comply with the USCCB’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The policy of the Diocese of Camden is that adults will attend CAP once every five years. CAP 1 teaches attendees to recognize child abuse and neglect and how to report to the proper authorities. Adults are taught that children have the right to be safe, strong and free. CAP 1 is for new volunteers and employees. CAP 2 is called CAP’s Bullying Prevention Program and is a workshop addressing bullying awareness and bullying prevention. Cyber-bullying is also presented. CAP 3 is called Cyber-Empowerment and is a workshop which promotes adults understanding of cyber activity of youth while teaching them realistic ways to help children keep their own rights and guard the rights of others in the cyber-sphere. Each presentation is 90 minutes. Adults who are new employees or volunteers should attend CAP 1 before attending CAP 2 or CAP 3. After five years, adults have the option of attending CAP 1, 2 or 3 when they renew their CAP. The following sessions will be offered in March 2018: CAP Phase 1
