Please join us each Monday at 9.30am or Thursday at 9am for Morning Prayer in the Norbury Chapel. 9 July – Kai Hoffman sings songs of Ella Fitzgerald Kai Hoffman, vocals, with Gunther Kurmayr, piano

Originally from the USA, Kai Hoffman is a favourite

performer at top UK venues including Ronnie Scott’s

(eight year residency), the Elgar Room of the Royal

Albert Hall, the London Jazz Festival and more. Kai’s

international reputation extends to popular

performances at Don’t Tell Mama in New York City

and the Blue Note Milano, and in countries as varied

as Bangladesh, the Netherlands and Russia.

Kai will be performing a selection of songs from the

Great American Songbook, including a number of

tunes made famous by the First Lady of Song, Ella

Fitzgerald.

Gunther Kurmayr is an incredibly versatile, sought-

after pianist on the London jazz scene. A member of

Ray Gelato's Giants band, Gunther performs

regularly at Ronnie Scott's and jazz festivals across

the globe.
