    Johan Lindstn was born in 1981 in the

    the urniture kingdom the collective name

    or the area south o Sweden and the heart

    o the Swedish urniture design industry.

    Since his degree in design 2008, Stockholm

    Johan work as an independent reelance

    designer with several interesting products

    in his range. From limited editions that hasbeen sold to museums, iPad accessories to

    sound absorbents and urniture. 2011 he

    received a Salone Satellite Award or one o

    the best products in the show. Lindstn

    Form Studio has been editorial published in

    Romania, Greece, Italy, Turkey, United

    Kingdom, Holland, Germany, Canada, USA,

    Russia, Denmark, France.

    Milan, 1938

    He is the son o Luisa Portaluppi and Antonio.

    Despite preerring antique shops and artisan

    workshops to university lecture halls, in 1967

    he graduated in architecture rom Milan

    Polytechnic.

    Between 1968 and 1971 he worked mainly onthe French Riviera, in Sardinia and the Milan

    area, where, among other things, he designed

    the actory or the Ramazzotti group and the

    new Etro oces. In 1968 he was in charge o

    interior design at the Longanesi publishing

    house and Giorgio Soavi commissioned him to

    reurbish the Olivetti general oces in Piazza

    Navona in Rome and in Berkeley Square in

    London. Photos o the work were put on show

    in 1969 at the Muse des Arts Dcoratis at

    the Louvre.

    In 1969 he planned the interiors or the boat

    Enteara by Gianmarco Moratti, designed by

    Laurent Giles, which was ollowed by many

    other boats or Camper & Nicholson, Wally

    and Baglietto.

    At the start o the seventies he began working

    with producers o urnishing accessories and,

    in the early eighties, his interest shited to

    Tuscany and the renovation o old

    armhouses.

    In 1994, the Pirelli group commissioned him

    to restore the Bicocca degli Arcimboldi villa

    in Milan, where Castellini ollowed in the

    ootsteps o his grandather Portaluppi. Thiswas ollowed by other management oces or

    Pirelli (2001), Telecom (2002-2006) and

    Mediobanca (2005) in Milan.

    In 2008 he nished restoring the Necchi

    Campiglio villa in Milan or FAI, the Italian

    oundation or the environment. For

    FontanaArte he designed I.punto and the

    C&C collection o abric lampshades in

    celebration o the companys 80th

    anniversary.
