Intent The goal is to create a premier sports facility located in Fontana and be accessible to all of southern California. INTRODUCTION / THEME

FONTANA SPORTS PARK DESIGN GUIDELINES

Design Theme “Nostalgic American Baseball” Design cues are primarily taken from classic major and minor league sports facilities from around the country. There is a history designed into the sports facility. What this will do is lend a weight and quality to the venue that will draw in a higher quality of league and tournament play than at traditional municipal softball venues. Some of the main ways that this aesthetic is achieved is through the use of specific and purposeful material, finish and color choices. A primary benefit of creating a community setting and “event” type activity of this caliber will be that the user will be encouraged to spend longer amounts of time and energy to travel to and from the ball park.
