We have our catalogs hosted by Follett on their servers so it does make it more expensive, but our tech department loves not having to worry about updates or managing the site. I love the fact that even if our school’s servers are down, I can still get to the site (with my Smartphone). Plus, we experienced a tornado that basically wiped out all three schools and along with it - everything on our servers including all library information. I like the fact that we don’t have to worry about that happening to us again with the library automation.
