Design and Elastic Mind MoMA The brief about MoMA exhibition was to find a way to draw the attention of the visitors on a screensaver. So the project is to design an interesting screensaver that is going to be illustrated on a LED screen. After studying the website of Moma: Design and Elastic mind exhibition, I came to the conclusion that mostly has to do with science, biology, interaction and innovative designs and products. The website had a minimalistic, industrial atmosphere. So I tried to have my inspiration from the website and style of the exhibition instead of its artworks that had a broad style. Initialy the idea was to make something that related to science because it has a lot of artworks that related. Then it changed because I wanted something simple and straight forward because it is already a museum with lots of things to see. The simple idea that I chose was to take some artworks from the exhibition and present them in an interesting, simple and informative way. The Idea:

After studying the website of Moma: Design and Elastic mind exhibition, I came to the conclusion that mostly has to do with science, biology, interaction and innovative designs and products.
The website had a minimalistic, industrial atmosphere. So I tried to have my inspiration from the website and style of the exhibition instead of its artworks that had a broad style.
Initialy the idea was to make something that related to science because it has a lot of artworks that related.
Then it changed because I wanted something simple and straight forward because it is already a museum with lots of things to see. The simple idea that I chose was to take some artworks from the exhibition and present them in an interesting, simple and informative way.
The Idea:
I chose to make the screensaver in adobe after effects. That’s because the idea is to use some images of the exhibition artworks in the screensaver and make them moving.
I cut the images in random rectangle sizes and through animation they come and collide together. After that a title appears and also the name of the artist and the year that was created.
Through this screensaver the visitors of the exhibition are able to learn some information for the pieces they are about or interested to see.

Evaluation:
I liked the idea of simplicity and easy to understand idea of the screensaver but if there was more time and knowledge on interactive coding I would made the users interact with it.
With the move of their hands the slides of the pictures could come together instead of just doing it automatically.That would be more playful and dynamic.
