The main location in Altendorf, Germany The main location Altendorf serves the regions of Europe, the Near East and Africa. Apart from the production of our global portfolio, our core business lies in elastic products, mechanical tapes and elastic laminates. We also advise and support our global subsidiaries on specific topics – an efficient mix of sales, development and support.

The production plant in Guadalajara, Mexico Originally established as a subsidiary for sales support, we have been developing self-adhesive closure systems for baby diapers and adult incontinence briefs in Mexico since 2006. In 2010 the production of combined mechanical closure systems was added. Thanks to its central position, customers from all parts of the Americas benefit from local security stocks and short delivery times. Investments in a state-of-the-art machine park and a sophisticated test laboratory make Lohmann-koester Mexico an ideal partner when it comes to tailor-made solutions.

The production plant in Tianjin, China In order to cope with the strong market growth in Asia and the Pacific, the site, which was founded in 2006, was ultimately expanded to include the production facility for hygienic closure systems. The core competencies lie in the coating and laminating of nonwoven, as well as the coating of technical and adhesive tapes, in the high-precision cutting of different materials and in the cross-winding of different carrier materials. With a state-of-the-art production line, Lohmann-koester China is in a position to develop tailor-made solutions of all kinds.
