Position Title – XO-14-ESG-Pricipal Technician, L&P

Budgetary accountability that directly impacts revenue centres. Coordinates and fulfils administrative responsibilities Diagnoses and repairs surface and downhole electronic and mechanical systems. Provide service quality via personal contributions and experience. Operates surface and down hole well logging equipment on work locations for the

purpose of recording information about sub-surface geologic formations. Function as service expert for a range of well logging services. Operate as a one person crew and preforms more than one well logging service as a

recognised expert. Supervises Service Supervisors, Service Specialists, Service Operators and Service

Operator Assistants at the well site. Coordinates the work of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site during the

operation of surface or down hole well logging equipment. Actively coordinates the Operator Assistants and Service Operators during rigging-up and rigging –

down of surface and down hole well logging equipment, including nuclear tools and radioactive materials.

Operates PCE when required. Preforms Pre Job calcuations as required. Obtains pertinent service work imformation from the customer and effectively communicates

appropriate information to assigned work staff. Communicates pre-job and on the job progress to the customer. Communicates and negotiates with customer to resolve issues concerning invoicing service

irregularities.

Trains and provides guidance to less experienced Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the operation of some or all of the following: rig-up equipment, calibration equipment, down hole tool fishing equipment, well pressure control equipment, drill pipe conveyed logging equipment, explosive operations services and equipment, radioactive operations services and equipment, logging unit winch operations, cable drum equipment and changing cable drums, changing various sized cable drums, pipe recovery services and equipment, perforation services and equipment, cased hole operations and equipment/various tools, open hole operations and equipment/various tools, mobilization and de-mobilization of equipment to and from the rig site, spotting and setting up various equipment on the well site, inventory and stocking of all equipment used during well site operations, maintenance and repair of all equipment associated with well logging actives, tracking of all post-job maintenance and PM1, 2 & 3 processes, interfaces with management before and after equipment mobilization to ensure the correct equipment is mobilized and that any necessary post-job repairs are preformed and tracked.

Presents technical and HESQ topics when required. Knowledgeable in HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel. Proactively promotes safety and awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with

Health, Safety and Environment regulations and guidelines. Recognizes possible sales opportunities for the Company’s other product and services and

communicates information to Service Coordinator or appropriate Company staff. Completes appropriate documents, reports, and forms that affect the financial results of the

business unit (field ticket, etc.) Ensures that all job tasks are correctly preformed, ensure cost containment, efficiency and

profitability on all operations. Promotes the Stop Work Authority program and HOC system, safety awareness and environmental

awareness. Complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures, regulations, and policies of the

Company and customers. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines,

promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes (CPI/KPI). Capable of being deployed to any rig in the work area. Have excellent communication and leadership skills Have a vast knowledge and understanding of the HMS system, standards and guidelines May act as Service Leader when required.
