The Cascade’s low profile, ember ramp burner instantly creates the warm yellow flame patterns and deep smoldering glow that takes a wood fire hours to accomplish. The intricately detailed, log stack, log scraps, ember chips, and cascading ember bed burner are painstakingly recreated from an actual wood fire; complete with logs, coals and embers. The entire system is hand finished in natural wood tones and smoky, charred details for a true to life, wood fire presentation.

While certification standards prevent vented gas logs from being classified as “heaters”, FMI’s patented burner technology is a clear departure from any other vented gas log. The log stack is integrated into the ceramic burner as a single arrangement which is designed to produce an intense red glow that commonly generates overall radiant heating efficiencies of 56% in a conventional masonry woodburning fireplace, and the cleanest, non-sooting burn in the industry.

The Cascade’s unitized, fully assembled design also makes installation a breeze! Just complete the gas connection using the shut-off valve and stainless flex connector provided. Like all FMI logs, the Cascade doesn’t require any break in or “burn off” period, so you can enjoy your new heater instantly.
