INTENDED AUDIENCE

The content of this document is designed to facilitate the users -

managers, supervisors and others of Customer Group Pricing

Extension for Magento 2. A step by step instruction has been added to

this document to help users to install the extension on Magento 2.

This extension will only work on Magento 2. As a safe practice always

backup your files and database before installing any extension on

Magento. If you are looking for someone to install the extension we

USER GUIDE

After installation of extension, make sure the setup is upgraded and static-contents are

deployed. Login to admin panel and flush your Magento cache storage.

HOW TO CONFIGURE THE EXTENSION

At the back end, go to Configurations. You can go there from FME EXTENSIONS >

Configurations. Here you will find the following:

General Settings

• Enable in Front End: Select Yes or No to enable or disable the extension

• Select Priority For Pricing Outer Level: Drag and drop up and down, to change the

priority. By setting priority at this level means, one will be selected between Rules

and Product page (tier or FME custom pricing)

• Select Priority For Pricing Inner Level: Drag and drop up and down, to change the

priority. By setting priority at this level means, which one will be selected at product

page between tier and FME custom pricing

▪ Product Tier Pricing




HOW TO ADD/EDIT PRICING RULES

At the back end, go to Manage Pricing Rules. You can go there from FME EXTENSIONS >

Manage Pricing Rules. Here you will find the grind with all the pricing rules. Click on Add

Rule to continue.

Here you will find the following:

General

• Title: Title for the new rule

• Priority: We need to mention the priority of each rule in case of conflict between

multiple rules so with help of priority only one would be selected with higher priority

or latest in case of equal priorities.

• Store View: Store view for the rule

• Apply Price On: Selected Customers or Customer Group. In case of selected

customers please select customers from tab on left side

▪ Customer Groups

• Customer Groups (Dependable Field Apply Price On > Customer Groups): Select

the customer groups which belongs to this rule

• Start Date: Mention the start date for the rule or one can leave them empty in case

no start or end date would apply




• End Date: Mention the end date for the rule or one can leave them empty in case no

start or end date would apply

• Status: Select yes or no to enable of disable the rule

• Enable Message: Select yes or no to enable or disable the message

• Message Text: Type the message which you want to display along with this rule on

product view page. At the end of every message please type three/3 semicolons for

separation i.e. Buy 1-50 and save 50%;;; Buy 51-100 and save 70%;;; ...

• Custom Price: Provide custom price in form of discount/increment by using

dynamic rows feature

▪ Mininum Quantity: Minimum Quantity user need to purchase in order to

avail custom price

▪ Maximum Quantity: Maximum Quantity for the custom price. In case of

unlimited maximum quantity just leave this field empty

▪ Price: Price value

▪ Type: Type of discount of increment




Condition

Provide condition(s) for the rule. One can select whole category or specific based on

attributes

Customer

Dependable on Apply Price On > Selected Customer




HOW TO APPLY CUSTOM PRICE ON SPECIFIC PRODUCTS

At the back end go to Catalog > Products. Either make a new product or Edit an existing

product for applying/setting custom price.

Once product edit page is opened, at the very last there is a tab called Price By Customer

Group. One can set custom price based on this tab by using dynamic rows feature. You can

add multiple rules by help of dynamic rows and by pressing Add button. Following are the

fields that are in the dynamic rows:

• Title: Enter title for the rule

• Apply Price On: Select the customer group or selected customers incase price will

be applied on only selected customers.

• Customer Group/Selected Customer IDs: Select customer group in case of

customer groups and enter IDs of customers in case of selected customers. If

‘selected customer’ is selected then customer IDs must be entered in the text box by




seperating with commas. For Example: if this rule should be applied on customer 1,

2 and 45 then textbox value would be 1,2,45

• Start Date: Mention the start date for the rule or one can leave them empty in case

no start or end date would apply

• End Date: Mention the end date for the rule or one can leave them empty in case no

start or end date would apply

• Mininum Quantity: Minimum Quantity user need to purchase in order to avail

custom price

• Maximum Quantity: Maximum Quantity for the custom price. In case of unlimited

maximum quantity just leave this field empty

• Price: Price value

• Price Type: Type of discount of increment

• Status: Select yes or no to enable or disable the rule for this product
