Inspect and perform density testing of backfill material in accordance with FDOT specifications. All density testing was input into the Density Logbook.

Identification of Unique Project Issues

Field IssuesPrevent delay to work being performed by establishing early lines of communication. The contractor would notify VT and JPA inspector of issue and meet in the field to discuss. Contractor, VT and JPA inspector would discuss the issue with possible solutions and then JPA inspector would notify the E.O.R. QuantitiesOn a weekly basis VT and JPA inspector would review quantities for work performed that week. For the monthly estimate cut-off for quantities ended the week prior to the monthly cut-off date.Contractor would then submit as-builts to the E.O.R. for review of monthly quantities.A meeting with the E.O.R., Utility owner, Contractor, and VT would be held the Friday before the monthly estimate cut-off to review and discuss quantities for that month.
