  • Research into se-cret NAZI projects ex-plores the possibilitythat UFOS—flyingsaucers—may not bealien space ships af-ter all, but the super-secret technologies ofplanet Earth.

There is an exten-sive corpus of datathat supports thistheory. Some of therevelations are star-tling and with this es-say we intend to ex-amine these findingsas well as additionalinformation that reconsiders the origins of UFOs.

Since the early 20th century, the mystery of UFOs has evolved into one ofthe premier urban legends, so much so that one of the most notorious tales ofthe crash at Roswell, New Mexico and the Barney and Betty Hill abduction areindelibly woven into our contemporary culture.

These stories are but a fragment of a vast accumulation of evidence fromcredible eye-witnesses, all claiming to have observed strange objects in ourskies; machines of intelligent design that cannot be accounted for, given ourcurrent accepted technological paradigm. The general consensus of unidenti-fied flying objects reports describe craft designs and flight capabilities thatdefy our accepted laws of aerodynamics, giving rise to the logical assumptionthat these mysterious craft must come from somewhere beyond Earth.

To crack life open at the seams, to dissect and examine its contents is un-nerving, like the reading of omens by viewing entrails or casting bones. We alltell our own stories; sometimes we even believe them. And sometimes we tellthem one last time. If you don’t believe them, that’s your problem. What you dowith it is up to you.

    I don’t care anymore.

the particles of the stars into the molecules of our bodies. Who are we? Where arewe actually existing within the architecture of the universe? Are we alone or is theanswer stranger than we can ever imagine?

Not to burst your bubble, but the Earth is not the center of the universe. Atleast not anymore. You are not the star of your own movie. Humans are not themost intelligent creatures in the cosmos, we are not at the top of the food chain, and our current reality is merely a fantasy. I can’t prove any of this, even if I wantedto.

There is a mysterious, invisible power that pervades everything. We can’t seeit or touch it, but we can feel it.

Reality is not what it used to be. Things are not what they seem. Everythingaround us is a mental construct. We create our own reality. Breaking that down ishard to do and once it is done, there ain’t no coming back. What happens to peoplewhen their fundamental beliefs—the bedrock of their understanding—explodesinto a million fucking pieces? When something comes careening from out of theblue and messes with everything we know. How do we react?

Beliefs are mercurial things. They direct our lives and choices moment bymoment. They are stowaways to the imagination emporium. Harnessed to hunches, polished with proof. They’re like clothing we can’t afford. They elevate us, yet, they are not ours to keep. We discard them when they no longer serve our needsor when we discover they weren’t real at all.

They attach to our collective consciousnessand then, one day, man, they bubble to the surface and assert their power. We’ve always looked to the skies for answersinstead of looking into ourselves.

Memory is a mirage and a mistress to desire, forever shape-shifting and ethe-real. She’s inherently elusive and malleable. We acknowledge her if it suits ourfantasy at the moment. YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

The Purpose of this ReportResearch into secret NAZI projects explores the possibility that UFOS—flying

saucers—may not be alien space ships after all, but the super-secret technolo-gies of planet Earth.

There is an extensive corpus of data that supports this theory. Some of therevelations are startling and with this essay we intend to examine these findingsas well as additional information that reconsiders the origins of UFOs.

Since the early 20th century, the mystery of UFOs has evolved into one of thepremier urban legends, so much so that one of the most notorious tales of thecrash at Roswell, New Mexico and the Barney and Betty Hill abduction are indel-ibly woven into our contemporary culture.

These stories are but a fragment of a vast accumulation of evidence from cred-ible eye-witnesses, all claiming to have observed strange objects in our skies;machines of intelligent design that cannot be accounted for, given our currentaccepted technological paradigm. The general consensus of unidentified flyingobjects reports describe craft designs and flight capabilities that defy our acceptedlaws of aerodynamics, giving rise to the logical assumption that these mysteriouscraft must come from somewhere beyond Earth.

So the notion that the invention of flying saucers could be attributed to NAZIWorld War Two technology seems like nothing more than wild tabloid nonsense.Yet, under close scrutiny, this idea becomes a compelling possibility. We knowfor a fact that such technological wizardry such as television, jet aircraft and guidedmissiles were developed by German scientists during World War Two. And it iswell known that Hitler repeatedly boasted possession of a secret super weaponsarsenal that would rescue the failing dream of NAZI conquest. Were his words justempty expressions of bravado, or is it possible that flying saucers were a part ofthat incredible weaponry? The truth is difficult to ascertain, yet a tantalizing trailof clues begs an investigation into the development of the German saucers.

Western civilization for the latter half of the twentieth century has been domi-nated by great advances in science and technology. Most of these wonders ofscientific ingenuity existed behind closed doors long before they were revealedto the public at large. Antibiotics were discovered in 1910 but not applied until1940. The physics of using the atom as a source of energy was understood as sci-

YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

entific fact as early as 1919 but, to the public, such technology was pure sciencefiction until August 6th, 1945 when the first atomic bomb was dropped onHiroshima, Japan.

Television guided smart bombs used in the 1991 Gulf War against Iraq was atechnological advancement developed by Germany in World War Two. In fact, the first television transmission of the 1936 Olympics in Berlin showcased yet an-other marvel of German scientific genius. But by 1944, despite all their technicalgenius, the German war machine was failing. Cities, factories, railyards and oilstorage facilities were being bombed mercilessly by allied bombers.

In November of that year members of allied bomber crews began reportingobservations of strange balls of glowing light that seemed to follow their planes.Somehow intelligently guided, these lights would ascend from the ground andmeet the approaching bombers. Close proximity would cause instrument andengine malfunctions and some bombers allegedly crashed as a result of this ef-fect.

The New York Herald Tribune reported that the balls of light appeared sud-denly and accompanied the planes for miles and seemed to be radio-controlledfrom the ground as intelligence reports revealed. Eighth Army Air Corps and theR.A.F. discounted the crew reports as mass hallucinations or combat jitters but, shortly before the Germans surrendered, the foo fighters disappeared.

Later, Italian author Renato Vesco alleged in his book, “Intercept UFO,” thatthe foo fighters were much more than mere hallucinations. A remote-controlleddevice called the Feurball, a turbojet powered, armored craft manufactured bythe Weiner Norstat aircraft factory was responsible for the foo fighter reports. Byday, the fireball could be seen as a shiny metal disk spinning on its axis. By nightit looked like a glowing ball of fire. A rich fuel mixture over-ionized the air sur-rounding the disk, creating the glowing halo. It was designed to home in on en-gine exhaust and was capable of generating damaging electromagnetic impulsesthat would disrupt he ignition systems of internal combustion engines.

(Sound familiar?)As the war progressed, London and other cities were pounded relentlessly

by V-1 and V-2 cruise missiles and intercontinental rockets—guided bombs com-monly referred to today as “guided missiles.” These weapons were devastatingbut what other kinds of secret weapons did the Germans possess? According torecent research, an SS officer, Captain Rudolph Schriever, an aeronautical engi-neer, was credited with designing a vertical lifting craft, called “the flying top” asearly as the Spring of 1941. Let that sink in.

A prototype was test flown in June of 1942 and by August of 1943, he hadproduced a larger version of the original disk. The “Flying Top” was a large diskfan of twenty meters diameter with 21 rotor blades surrounding a hemispherical

YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

gondola. Attached to the under side of the disk rotor were three jet engines thatspun the rotor like a helicopter for vertical takeoff. Once in the air, two additionaldiesel fueled turbo engines propelled the disk in level flight. By the summer of1944 at the BMW in Prague, Captain Schriever was working on a far grander de-sign for his vertical lift flying machine. Collaborating with two other German en-gineers on the craft, Doctors Habbermohl and Methe, as well as an Italian physi-cist, Doctor Ballutso, they designed a flying disk 138 feet in diameter that couldreach 40,000 feet altitude and a speed of over 1200 miles per hour. Since the specsare available, it is obvious the saucer was flight tested.

Like the original, the cupola was in the center with the rotating diskus aroundit. After the war, Schriever admitted he had built the craft but denied that it wasever flown. To prevent it from falling into the hands of the advancing allies, theprototype was destroyed, along with all plans and designs, however, an allegedeye-witness, German aircraft designer, Georg Kline, claims the “top” was suc-cessfully flown in February, 1945, very near the end of the war.

German engineer, Rudolph Schriever, right up to his death in the 1952, wasconvinced that UFO sightings after the war were proof that someone had advancedhis original designs. A postscript to Schriever’s “Flying Top” story is revealed bysome critical researchers. A case in point is provided by a former Polish P.O.W.who recounts serving on a prison labor detail in 1944 cutting hay at a camp somethirty miles from Berlin. He was startled by a high-pitch whine coming from a largecircular tarpaulin enclosure approximately 150 yards diameter and 50 feet high. The sound was similar to that of a large electric generator. At the same time, thelabor detail tractor stopped running but the German driver made no attempt torestart it. Suddenly a large, dark grey circular machine 75 to 100 yards in diam-eter rose up slowly from behind the enclosure. The P.O.W. described it as havinga stationary upper and lower cupola with a rapidly spinning center section. Thecraft lifted high enough to clear the enclosure and moved off beyond his line ofsight behind a stand of trees.

Curiously, just five years after cessation of hostilities in 1950, a rancher in Ar-gentina, reported the flight of an aircraft he described as identical to the German“Flying Top.” Even today, the ultra-secret “Venus Project” features vertical lifthovercraft virtually identical to the “Flying Top.”

Other researchers have revealed additional German technological advances, including Viktor Schauberger, whose observations revealed that the vortex wasnature’s most efficient method of the transmission of energy. Coerced into put-ting his ideas into use for the German war machine, he built a ten-foot diametervortex propulsion machine at a facility in Vienna that generated diamagnetic levi-tation. This “repulsin” engine produced results so spectacular that it lifted verti-cally and crashed through the 24 foot high hangar ceiling. His fame earned him an

audience with Hitler in the 1930s when he warned Hitler that the short-term effectof the National Socialist state’s economic strategy would undermine and ultimatelydestroy Germany’s natural resources. The thousand year Reich, he declared, would be lucky to last a single decade. His warning proved prophetic.

Work continued on his vortex machine until 1945 but was eventually halted bythe advancing allied armies. Schauberger was captured and deported to the UnitedStates where he was confined and coerced into to revealing his technical secrets.Authorities claimed rights to all his thoughts and plans, past as well as future. Hisintellect and entire being had become United States property. Dejected, he diedSeptember 25, 1958 at the age of 74, saying that he no longer owned himself.

Finally the NAZI’s European war effort collapsed completely by the Spring of1945. The Germans capitulated to the American, British and Russian armies. Thesecret saucer technologies proved inadequate to rescue the Reich, but just thesame, victorious allied commanders were clearly shaken by the advances in NAZIweapons technology. Sir Roy Freddon, leader of a technical mission to Germanyfor the Ministry of Aircraft Production, stated, “I have seen enough of their de-signs and production plans to realize that if they had managed to prolong the warsome months longer, we would have been confronted in new and deadly ele-ments of air warfare” Later, in 1956, United States Air Force Captain Edward J.Ruppelt, head of Project Blue Book, stated, “When World War Two ended theGermans had several types of radical aircraft and guided missiles under devel-opment. While many were in the preliminary stages, they were the only craft ca-pable of the flight characteristic commonly reported by UFO observers.”

American, British and Russian technical experts picked the bones of the NAZIwar machine. Personnel and materials flowed back to the respective countries.German rocket designer, Werner von Braun, and 300 railcars loaded with V-2rocket components were shipped to White Sands, New Mexico for him to reas-semble as America’s rocket program, which, over the ensuing decades, woulddevelop into NASA’s space program.

Project Saucer, on the surface, appears to have been assigned to oblivion andlittle more was revealed about the engineers, plans or hardware, but a persistentlegend remained that a top secret division within the NAZI SS, called the SSE4,had successfully developed antigravity saucer propulsion systems. But had allthose inventions been captured or accounted for by the end of the war? In just twoyears after the German surrender, the mystery of the German saucers com-pounded even more.

According to the research of determined investigators, only two months afterthe capitulation, interrogation of German U-boat crews by U. S. intelligence agents, revealed that German submarines had been delivering personnel, hardware, plans and members of the research teams to a secret underground stronghold in

the Antarctic. Thus, in January, 1947, Operation Highjump, a naval military taskforce, complete with 4,000 combat troops, 13 ships, and an aircraft carrier loadedwith seaplanes and helicopters, was dispatched to the South Pole under the com-mand of Admiral Richard E. Byrd to seek out and destroy the NAZI stronghold. But, despite preparations for an eight month polar excursion, the troops were with-drawn after only eight weeks, having been allegedly repelled by NAZI fighteraircraft able to fly from one pole to the other with incredible speed.

Just six months later, in June of 1947, UFOs were cruising over Mount Rainier,Washington. A private pilot named Kenneth Arnold reported a flight of nine shinyobjects cruising along like saucers might is you skipped them across the water.Seizing on his word, ”saucer,” the press launched the national “flying saucer”frenzy. But Arnold stated the objects he saw were more crescent-shaped, like fly-ing wings, which, incidentally, were another radical aircraft design from the Ger-man Horton brothers during Word War Two. In addition, the nine aircraft were ona heading for the Canadian border about 140 miles north of Mount Rainier and, according to the claims of researchers, as early as 1946, joint American and Ca-nadian and British saucer development was underway in the wilds of westernCanada. Just four months later, in September of 1947, the Strategic Air Commandembarked on a reconnaissance mission to Fort Richardson, Alaska for aerial map-ping of the North Pole, and unknown flying disks were reported during those mis-sions as well.

B-29 project commander, Major Charles Loss, reported the strange saucersover the pole might be secret Russian aircraft, possibly developed from capturedGerman designs.

But the grandest of all stories from 1947 came in July of that year when theArmy Air Corps reported capturing a UFO that had crashed at Roswell, NewMexico. Although the Army quickly recanted the claim, and said the device wassimply a weather balloon.

50 years later a NAZI connection to the Roswell incident was also revealed. Inhis book, “The Day After Roswell,” Colonel Corso shared military concerns thatthe spacecraft recovered in the New Mexico desert also displayed suspicious NAZIorigins. Conversations with Werner von Braun and Willy Ley at Alamogordo inthe days after the recovery intimated that there was a far more interesting storyabout what the Germans had really created. The similarity between the Hortonflying wing and the craft recovered from the arroyo was no coincidence.

Doctor Hermann Oberth considered the Roswell craft was not a spacecraft, but a time machine. Therefore, the beings described in the medical autopsy re-port might have been humanoid robots or replicants rather than human life forms, specifically created for long distance travel through time and space.

Is it possible that the extraordinary research uncovered about German tech-

nology concerning saucer development and time space travel are concepts thatcan only be revealed as fiction?

This line of research is not to dismiss the UFO phenomenon as being the ex-clusive product of Earth technology. The unknown craft in our skies could be bothterrestrial as well as extraterrestrial. How would the average layman even knowthe difference? But for serious end times planners, the UFOs present a singularstrategic problem: that highly advanced foreign aircraft are being flown into andout of the atmosphere over sensitive military installations by communist Sovietmilitary, postwar NAZI elites, or extraterrestrials. This leaves the military with amore serious tactical disadvantage than the attack on Pearl Harbor just six yearsearlier. To cope with such a potential military threat required expanding and ex-tending the Manhattan Project into a top priority research effort to investigate, emulate and, if possible, surpass the flight performance of the unknown aircraftas quickly and secretly as possible.

Assuming the propulsion systems are based on known universal principles—technologies we are just now mastering—they could have been discovered andutilized by any number of alien beings eons ago. Accounts of UFOs date back intoantiquity, a phenomenon as old as humankind itself. Mastery of antigravity tech-nology could, as Albert Einstein said, accommodate interstellar travel by gener-ating electromagnetic fields that are free from the bounds of time and space aswell as gravity, thus rendering space travel in distances between inhabited starsystems no more extraordinary than a trip to the corner grocery store.

There are those who suggest that terrestrial UFO projects are alien sponsored;that extraterrestrials, for whatever reasons, have made covert treaties with Earthgovernments, offering technical assistance to competing world powers. Someargue “Nazi Project Saucer” derived from just such a pact.

Fantastic weapon science from World War Two was not the exclusive prov-ince of the Nazis alone. Thanks to the war, American physicists and engineersbegan investigating fundamental antigravity technologies themselves. In the earlyyears of World War Two the terrible losses of allied shipping due to NAZI U-boataction was forcing the U. S. Navy to think of methods to make ships invisible toradar. It was theorized that a sufficiently powerful electromagnetic field could makea vessel undetectable to enemy radar. This same concept, expanded to a daringdegree, postulated that a greater magnetic field could make a ship visually invis-ible as well.

According to the research of some theorists, the U. S. Destroyer Eldridge anda volunteer crew in 1943 were involved in a practical test of the theory to renderthe ship invisible. The project was envisioned from Einstein’s Unified Field Theoryresearch which postulates that time, space and gravity can be manipulated by asufficiently powerful electromagnetic field.

During 1943 Einstein was briefly hired by the U.S. Navy. But despite the deni-als that any such invisibility test occurred, proponents of the story point out thatthrough the research, the Navy stumbled onto the discovery of antigravity pro-pulsion. Physicists determined that the ideal form for an antigravity airfoil is theovate spheroid—in other words, a flying saucer. By the 1950s America had beentransformed into a weird science fiction reality full of technological promises. Tenyears earlier the notion of splitting the atom to create an explosion had been apure Buck Rogers fantasy. But by the 1950s, the recurring atomic bomb tests inNevada and the Pacific was routine. Jet aircraft, rockets and television were newadditions to America’s everyday world.

Flying saucers were an integral part of a fifties culture. A California man, namedGeorge Adamski, claimed to be entertaining visitors from Venus, and sharedbooks, photos and movies of his flying saucer adventures that fanned the fires ofthe UFO craze. Hollywood capitalized on the flying saucer mania by serving uppotboiler movies filled with blood thirsty aliens and invasion from space. Concur-rent with cinema and tabloid exploitation was the propaganda that no govern-ment on Earth could possibly create flying saucer technology.

But with such clever propaganda for diversion from the back came the under-standing that practical antigravity electromagnetic propulsion was within the graspof Earth science. In 1953, T. Townsend Brown was creating anti-gravity disks in hisprivate laboratory. The flights of tethered airfoils two feet in diameter around atwenty foot diameter course produced an observable speed of 17 feet per sec-ond. The disk airfoils emitted a slight hum and a bluish electrical glow. At a subse-quent demonstration, Brown exhibited disks three feet in diameter, flying a fiftyfoot diameter course with results so spectacular that they were immediately clas-sified.

In November of 1955, the New York Tribune published a series of articles bymilitary aviation editor Ansel E. Talbert outlining a government project to har-ness gravitation as a means of aircraft and spacecraft propulsion. Some of America’smost brilliant minds such as Edward Teller and Robert Oppenheimer were namedas proponents of the project. Talbert described the amazing antigravity ships ascapable of acceleration in a few seconds to many thousands of miles per hour, and changing course at those speeds without subjecting crew and passengers toany “g’ forces. Such flight characteristics as described by Talbert were alreadybeing observed in UFO behavior.

Some of the companies involved in antigravity propulsion were Lear, Inc., BellAircraft, Sperry Rand Corporation, Glen H. Martin Corporation, and General Elec-tric. According to researcher Stan Deyo, a technical paper released in Decem-ber, 1956, by Gravity Rand Ltd., of London, entitled “The Gravitics Situation,”bluntly stated that scientists had already developed antigravity propulsion based

YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

on the theories of Townsend Brown. A program in hand may ensure that develop-ment of large disks will be continued.

Already companies are specializing in the evolution of particular componentsof the electrogravitics disks. This implies that the science is in the same status asthe ICBM; to wit: no new ideas are required; only RDT&E.

In 1956 Hollywood showcased antigravity propulsion in the science fictiondrama, “Forbidden Planet,” a film featuring humans rather than aliens pilotingflying saucers into deep space. The film even featured the engine’s main propul-sion: the electromagnetic coil.

Disclosure of antigravity engines seems eminent. By 1959, the United StatesAir Force unveiled its own sleek Hollywood style flying saucer called the AvroCar.But in filmed tests, the AvroCar bobbed and wobbled, barely clearing the tarmac. Were these machines just a pipe dream or an effective smokescreen? Followingthe AvroCar’s apparent dismal failure, flying saucer research was discounted asan unachievable and unwarranted waste of taxpayer money. The whole projectwas discarded (at least on the surface) and the hapless sleek saucer was tossedaside at the Fort Eustis, Virginia air museum to gather rust and dust, no match forthe dynamic ICBMs and moon rockets that commanded center stage for the nextthree decades. All public discussion of antigravity research ceased. The veil ofsecrecy descended with a thump.

The 1960s found the United States and the Soviet Union locked in a cold warrace to build superior missile arsenals. The American public was overwhelmedwith media images of thundering rocket technology, the power to challenge thegods, blasting America into the space age. The hard reality of NASA’s engineer-ing eclipsed the nonsense of flying saucers. Although UFO sighting reports stub-bornly persisted, the federal government maintained a harsh hard-line policy ofdenial. Projects Sign, Grudge and Blue Book, and the Robertson Panel and CondonReport were all government programs designed to convince the public that noth-ing out of the ordinary exists. The whole mystery was debunked as misinterpretednatural phenomenon by uninformed or unbalanced observers.

But behind closed doors the subject was considered as anything but silly.Clearly, flight characteristics exhibited by UFOs would provide the weapons ad-vantage to any nation managing to master the technology, and that technologywas classified as “Above Top Secret,” while black budget research into exoticpropulsion systems and time travel could continue beneath a screen of flying sau-cer confusion.

Area 51’s Lockheed’s Skunk Works are home to the classified aircraft such asthe F-117. Former Skunk Works Director, Ben Rich, seems comfortable with theidea of exotic UFO technologies and publicly admitted as much. “We now havethe technology to take ET home. No, it won’t take a lifetime to do it. We now have

the ability to travel to the stars but first you must understand that we will not getthere using chemical propulsion.”

Rich said that all points in space time are connected. Having served as Direc-tor from 1975 to 1991, Rich is also quoted as saying, “Anything you can imagine,we already know how to do.” He also admitted that alien collusion is responsiblefor some of our engineering success. There are two kinds of UFOs: they ones webuild and the ones they build. We learned from actual crash recoveries and fromhand-me-downs. Nearly all aerospace designs were inspired by the Roswell space-craft, from Clarence Johnson’s SR-71 Blackbird onward to today’s drones, UCAVsand aerospace craft.

As far back as 1990, space craft specialist, David Froning of McDonnel Dou-glas corporation, who had been on contract to NASA, as well, addressing an audi-ence of astrophysicists, astronomers and engineers at a University of Arizona sym-posium, candidly admitted that obsolete rocket science has been replaced withmodified field propulsion, antigravity, matter/antimatter conversion, exotic fieldtension, time travel and transluminal flight—faster than light travel.

Later in 1990, the respected Aviation Week and Space Technology magazineconfirmed development of exotic top secret flight machines. In two feature ar-ticles, the lid was ever-so-slightly lifted on super classified projects underway atNellis Air Force Base in Nevada and Edwards Air Force Base in California. Bothbases have been home to classified vehicles for decades. The number and so-phistication of new aircraft appear to have increased sharply over the last tenyears. Vehicles now flying from these well guarded sites include manned andunmanned supersonic aircraft designed to perform strategic reconnaissance andother less conventionally defined missions. Aviation Week went on to say that an-other family of craft exist that relies on exotic propulsion and aerodynamic schemesnot fully understood at this time. Other reports more bluntly stated that there arethings being flown over the Nevada desert that would make George Lucas drool. One Air Force officer boldly declared, “We are testing vehicles that defy descrip-tion. To compare them to the SR-71 Blackbird would be like comparing Da Vinci’sparachute to the space shuttle.”

Despite oppressive security, reports of futuristic aircraft persist.Do we dare believe a covert space faring civilization totally separate from our

everyday reality has been created with black budget money over the last fiftyyears? What purpose would a secret star fleet service serve to a nation that isalready a locked-down national security state?

On January 7th, 1958, Senator Lyndon Johnson made this cryptic statementconcerning the future status of our national defense and the race for space: “Con-trol of space means control of the world. From space, the masters of infinity wouldhave the power to control the Earth’s weather, to cause droughts and floods, to

YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

change the tides and raise the levels of the seas, to divert the Gulf stream andchange temperate climes to frigid. There is something more important than theultimate weapon and that is the ultimate position. The total control over the Earthlies somewhere in space.”

Is UFO propulsion as far beyond human reach as we have been led to under-stand? A chain of circumstantial evidence certainly points to the possibility thatthe technology has been covertly advanced on Earth at least since World WarTwo. Evidence suggests that, even now, the technology continues to be devel-oped behind closed doors. Black cloak projects protected from public scrutinybehind a screen of national security, financed by black budgets, likely providesupport for these activities. Secrecy and a sinister program of disinformation keepsthe population ignorant of the true nature of the projects. With this in mind, com-bined with the evidence detailed in this essay, it is not inconceivable that saucercraft built by the U. S. government have deliberately posed as alien ships to mis-lead the public.

The evidence is compelling enough for one researcher to state: “The basicidea of a breakaway civilization is simply that you have a secret group, a classi-fied group of people, having access to radical technology, radically advancedscience, and they just won’t share it with the rest of the world. One breakthroughleads to another, then another, so the next thing you know you have a separategroup of humanity that is vastly beyond the rest of the world. I should think thatmembers of the breakaway world might despair of ever educating the rest of hu-manity. Their reality is probably so far beyond our own they may rightfully askhow they might bring us up to speed without causing a worldwide psychologicalmeltdown.”

Since the 1960s the black ops community directly involved with exotic anti-gravity technology has become so far removed from mainstream Americana thatit has evolved into a separate, secret high-tech empire unto itself; an elitist hybridcivilization literally disintegrated from its parent civilization, leaving the rest ofunenlightened humanity technologically and politically irrelevant.

Skunk Works Director, Ben Rich, openly boasted, “We already have the meansto travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projectsand it would take an act of God to ever get them out for the benefit of humanity.”

This arrogant declaration begs the question: “If these technologies don’t ben-efit humanity, just who do they benefit?” Is a secret space fleet the ultimate pro-tection of the human race or the ultimate threat? Since World War Two advancedUFO technologies have been sequestered with the intent of serving a malevolentagenda for complete global domination.

YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

DeceptionUFOs. Unidentified Flying Objects. What are they? Where do they come from?

Why are they here? Since the written words first appeared about 3,000 B. C., re-ports of spectacular and terrifying objects in the skies have been recorded bymany civilizations throughout the ages. Before the flood, in 4000 B. C., Sumeriawas known as the land of the civilized Kings and flourished in Mesopotamia inwhat is now modern day Iraq. This advanced civilization had its own system ofelaborate language and writing, architecture and art, astronomy and mathemat-ics. Their religious system was complex, comprised of hundreds of gods, ritualsand cosmology.

According to the ancient texts, each Sumerian city was guarded by its owngod and, while humans and gods once lived together, humans were servants tothe gods. Notice how the representations of the gods presented reptilian headsand other animal-like features. According to some UFO researchers, these allegedgods also interbred with humans and took the early Sumarian Kings to the stars.Sumerian technology was highly developed, including astronomy, and they be-lieved their gods were from Mars, the star system Pleiades, and Sirius.

But what were these strange beings? This is a question this section will ad-dress anon.

After the flood of Noah in 2,348 B. C., the descendants of his three sons, Ham,Shem and Jacob, began to repopulate the world. The progeny of Jacob, a philoso-pher who possessed a vast intellect, spread across east Asia and became the Asianraces of China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and the Philippines. The most industriousof these, the Chinese, began to quickly drain the land of the remaining flood wa-ters, plant rice fields, build walled cities, develop an intricate written language, and became inventors, philosophers, naval explorers, and global traders.

The Chinese were the first to record what we now call UFOs. In the book,Memories Of The Sovereigns And The Kings, published in the third millenniumB. C., sons from the sky would descend to Earth on a star which was in the shape ofa saucer.

The ancient Egyptians were also witnesses to strange flying objects. In thecollection of the Vatican Egyptian Museum in Rome is an ancient papyrus writtenaround 1500 B. C. The pharaoh of that period, Tutmoses the third, who many be-

lieve to have been the pharaoh of the Exodus, witnessed several flying disks thatterrified him and all who saw them, including most of his army. Pharaoh later in-structed his scribes to record the strange events.

The Tule papyrus narrated a series of mysterious objects in the skies as seenby pharaoh Tutmoses the third and many of his subjects. The papyrus containedmany deletions, as did the original document and crucial parts of the text. Thedeletions seemed deliberate, almost as if to make the event incomprehensible.

In 329 B. C. before the rise of Imperial Rome, Alexander the Great recordedtwo giant silver shields that dived repeatedly at his army as they attempted a rivercrossing in Central Asia. The action so panicked his elephants, horses and menthat they had to abandon the river crossing until the following day. Later in his-tory, the Romans also observed strange aerial objects as reported by Titus Livius, including a spectacle of ships gleaming in the sky in the winter of 218 B. C. Therewere many witnesses. Livius noted that many marvels were observed in severalplaces in Italy. The following year many Romans observed what looked like a groupof shiny round shields in the sky. The objects appeared to be made of polishedbronze.

Even the aboriginal peoples of Australia recorded “sky gods” in their mythol-ogy. The wangina were cloud and rain spirits who, during the dream time, cre-ated or influenced the landscape and its inhabitants. Images at Kimberly are thou-sands of years old and represent beings that visited the aboriginals from anotherworld. The odd shape of the heads of some of the figures can be compared totoday’s alien grays.

As we journey through time to early Europe, strange flying objects were ob-served, including a report concerning several wonderfully constructed aerial shipsthat appeared over Lyons, France between 830 and 833 A.D. The ships were wit-nessed by hundreds of people and a few were taken aboard the craft and weretold by the crew that they were from a land in the sky called Magonia.

Archbishop Egelbart rescued and later interviewed a small group of abducteeswho were attacked by a frightened mob upon their return. In an ancient and ob-scure Irish manuscript is an encounter between the congregation of their churchand a strange flying ship which occurred in 986 A. D.

The account is recorded thus: There happened in the borough one Sundaywhile the people were at Mass, a marvel. In this town is a church dedicated to asaint. It befell that an anchor was dropped from the sky with a rope attached thereto, and one of the flukes caught in the arch above the church door. People rushed outof the church and saw in the sky a ship with men on board floating before theanchor cable. They saw a man leap overboard and jump down to the anchor as ifto release it. He looked as if he were swimming in water. A folk rushed up andtried to seize him but the bishop forbade the people to hold the man for fear it

might kill him. The man was freed and hurried up to the ship whereupon the crewcut the rope, allowing the ship to sail out of sight.

But the anchor is in the church and has been there ever since as a testament. On April 4th, 1561, residents of Nuremberg, Germany, witnessed spectacular

displays of spheres, disks and cubes zooming around the sky, engaging in anaerial ballet for over an hour. Some of the objects even crashed. A woodcut wasproduced to portray the event. As a result of religious interpretation, fuselagesand wings were depicted as crosses and rockets became cubes full of balls. Twoimmense black cylinders, launched many blue and black spheres, blood redcrosses, and flying disks and battled one another in the sky, causing some of themto crash to earth beyond the city.

The terrifying sight continued to be observed. Similar terrifying events werealso observed throughout Europe such as accounts of flying spheres in Switzer-land. Between 1561 and 1566, residents of Basel witnessed spectacular displays offierce and confused objects zooming about the skies and engaging in aerial com-bat. On August 7th, 1566, at dawn, many citizen of Basel were frightened as theyobserved during several hours, black spheres engaged in formidable aerial battlein the skies above the city.

At the time when the sun rose, one could see many black balls moving at highspeed in the air towards the sun, then they half-turned, banging against one an-other as if they were fighting. A great number of them became red, became con-sumed and died out. The conflict was recorded to the city’s gazette.

Spectacular aerial objects were soon to appear in the skies over the BritishColonies of North America. In 1639 the first recorded UFO was sighted over theCharles River in Boston. Lights sped back and forth above the Charles fromBackbay Fen to Charlestown. Governor John Winthrope made an entry into hisjournal regarding the strange event. The primary witness, described as a man ofgood reputation, James Everil, a sober, discrete man, and two others, saw a greatlight at night at Muddy River.

When it stood still, it flamed up and was about three yards square. When itran, it was contracted into the figured of a swine. It ran as swift as an arrow to-wards Charlestown, up and down for two or three hours. The men had come downriver in their lighter about a mile and when it was over they found themselvescarried back against the flow to the place they began. Several other credible per-sons saw the same light after and about the same time and place.

Little else was heard of the same or similar flying objects until the late 19thcentury. The year 1896 was marked by strange occurrences. People by the thou-sands living across North America from San Francisco to Chicago and even toWinnipeg in Canada, observed strange lights in the skies. While people watchedthe skies, an airship was reported to have crossed from west to east at remark-

able speed. The excitement began on November 17th, 1896 in Sacramento, California. It

was a rainy, dismal night. Then through the lowering clouds there appeared abright light, moving slowly westward, appearing to be about one thousand feetabove the rooftops. Hundreds of people saw the light, including George Scott, anassistant to the Secretary of State of California. Scott persuaded some friends tojoin him on the observation deck above the Capitol dome and form there theybelieved they could see three lights.

Above the light was a dark, oblong shape. Enormous rings and propellerswere also seen on the fast moving craft. Some astounded witnesses even reportedencounters with crewmembers of the airship when the vessel was on the ground.Although the crew appeared to be human, their behavior, manners and clothingwere unusual. On one occasion, the pilot claimed to be from Mars, while othersclaimed to be from another continent. The last of these sensational flying craft wasobserved in Aurora, Texas in April, 1897, before disappearing forever, much tothe dismay of newspaper editors across the country who had, no doubt, rejoicedin the record sales of their tabloids.

The first person to make an engine powered flight was a Frenchman in 1852.He flew 15 miles from Paris in a steam powered airship of his own design, how-ever, his craft could not match the speed and maneuverability of the mystery air-ship that had appeared across the United States and, on one occasion, in Canada.

During World War Two, allied bomber crews flying missions over Germanywere regularly paced by bright, glowing spheres, which were tagged “Foo Fight-ers.” At the end of the war, intelligence officers from both sides believed theother side was responsible for the strange lights.

Researchers up to today believed the Germans were experimenting with un-usual flying disks that were far superior to allied aircraft but no solid evidencewas ever produced to prove the theory. It is generally considered among UFOresearchers that the modern age of the “flying saucer” began in June, 1947 whenbusinessman, Kenneth Arnold claimed to have seen a flight of nine high speedobjects near Mount Rainier in Washington State while flying his light plane, aCallAir A2, during a search for a downed U. S. cargo plane.

Arnold estimated the speed of the crescent-shaped craft at about 1200 milesper hour and said they moved like “saucers skipping on water.” In the newspa-pers that followed, it was mistakenly stated that the objects were ‘saucer shaped”and the term “flying saucer” was born. It would have been easy to dismiss Arnoldas a crackpot until two more sensational cases involving flying saucers worriedthe nation.

On the 7th of January, 1948, Godwin Airfield at Fort Knox in Knoxville, Ken-tucky, received a report from the Kentucky Highway Patrol that a large circular

object at least 250 feet in diameter was slowly moving West. At about 1:45 P.M.,Sergeant Quinton Blackwell saw an odd aerial object from the control tower atFort Knox and the base commander, Colonel Guy Hicks, reported seeing an ob-ject through his binoculars as being very white and about one fourth the size ofthe full moon, appearing to have a red border at the bottom.

Witnesses at the Clinton County Army Airfield in Ohio also observed the slowmoving object for about 35 minutes, stating that it came very near the ground, remained for about 10 seconds, then ascended rapidly to its original altitude of10,000 feet, leveling off and heading at 120 degrees into the overcast skies. Itsspeed was greater than 500 miles per hour in level flight.

Four P-51 Mustangs of B Flight of the 156th Fighter Squadron were already inthe air. The flight leader, Captain Thomas Mantell, was instructed to investigatethe object. One Mustang was low on fuel and abandoned the attempt to chase theobject. The remaining two pilots accompanied Mantell in steep pursuit of the ob-ject. They later reported they had seen the object but that it was too far away to bepositively identified. Only one of the P-51s, piloted by Lt. Albert Clements, hadoxygen which was running low. Clements and Lt. B. A. Hammond, called off theirpursuit at 22,500 feet but Mantell attempted to close in on the object.

According to the tower, once Mantell passed 25,000 feet altitude, he wouldhave blacked out from lack of oxygen. Failing to close in on the object, Mantell’splane began spiraling out of control back to the ground. A witness later reportedMantell’s Mustang plummeting in a circling descent, crashing at a farm near Fran-klin, Kentucky. The UFO was no longer visible to observers at Fort Knox.

The Mantell event was reported by newspapers across the country and re-ceived significant international attention. A number of sensational reports claimedthat the P-51 had been destroyed by the object Mantell was chasing and that theAir Force covered up any evidence which might have proved it. Another reportclaimed that Mantell’s body was riddled with holes, however, no evidence hasever been produced to substantiate these claims.

At the time of Captain Mantell’s pursuit of the alleged UFO, the United StatesNavy had released several top secret “Skyhook” balloons in Clinton County, Ohioon the same day. The balloons were made of reflective aluminum and were about100 feet in diameter, consistent with the UFO as large, metallic and cone-shaped.As the “Skyhook” project was top secret at that time, it is unlikely that CaptainMantell or any members of his flight or the air traffic controllers would have beenaware of them.

The 1950s proved an interesting decade and reports of sightings began toreach the public daily. One of the first happened on May 29th, 1950 and involvedan America Airlines DC-6 piloted by Captain Wills T. Sperry, a veteran of 17 yearsas an airlines pilot, 60 miles southwest of Washington, D. C. and headed for Nash-

YOUR EYES ONLY: THE UFO ENIGMA

ville, Tennessee. His co-pilot spotted the UFO as the pilot was reaching for a map, stating that the object was headed directly for the airliner. Sperry immediatelyexecuted a right turn to avoid a collision and the UFO appeared to come to a stop.It appeared to be a streamlined cigar shaped object without wings or tails as seenagainst the full moon. It had a blue, shimmering light in the nose, indicating apowerful electromagnetic propulsion system, circling the airliner, stopping, cir-cling, and then flying away at tremendous speed to the east.

Two years later a more troubling case caused an ever greater sensation acrossthe nation. On July 12th to July 29th 1952, a series of unidentified lights were ob-served over Washington, D.C. At 11:40 P.M., on Saturday, July 19th, EdwardNugent, an air traffic controller at the Washington National Airport, now known asRonald Reagan Airport, observed seven objects on his radar scope. The objectswere located 15 miles south-southwest of the city. No known aircraft were in thearea at that time and the objects were not following any established flight path.Nugent’s superior, Harry Barnes, a senior air traffic controller, watched the ob-jects on Nugent’s scope.

At 3 A. M., shortly before two jet fighters from Newcastle AFB in Delaware, arrived over Washington, all of the objects vanished from the radar, however, when the jets ran low on fuel and departed, the objects returned. This indicatedthat the UFOs were monitoring radio traffic and behaving accordingly. The ob-jects were last detected by radar at 5:30 A.M. Around sunrise, E. W. Chambers, acivilian radio engineer, observed five huge disks circling in a loose formationuntil they tilted upward and vanished. No satisfactory explanation was ever of-fered for the unsettling events.

In Great Britain, the Royal Air Force regularly scrambled fighters to interceptUFOs that could easily outmaneuver and outrun the jets while avoiding theirmachinegun fire. Yet, Western governments denied any threat from the craft fromanother world, although they were secretly studying the phenomenon. From the1950s onward countless amazing reports of strange flying objects—not all shapedlike saucers—were observed by many people nationwide, from school teachersto police officers, ministers, military personnel, and even politicians, includingformer U. S. Presidents, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

From 1952 until 1970, the United States Air Force established Project Blue Book, which was one of a series of systematic studies of UFOs. The Air Force providedthe following summary of the investigation: Number One: No UFO reported, in-vestigated and evaluated by the Air Force was ever an indication of threat to ournational security. Number Two: There was no evidence admitted to or discoveredby the Air Force that sightings categorized as unidentified represented techno-logical developments or principles beyond the range of modern scientific knowl-edge. Number Three: There was no evidence indicating that sightings catego-

rized as unidentified were extraterrestrial vehicles.Blue Book’s findings were accepted by mainstream scientists but were viewed

with suspicion by many Americans who were convinced the government was re-luctant to disclose what they really knew about UFOs.

Over 95% of all UFO sightings, according to Blue Book, were misidentificationsof known phenomenon like planets such as Venus, misidentified aircraft, odd cloudformations, flocks of birds, and others. But this left about five percent of observedUFOs unexplained. These were classified as residual UFOs or “R” UFOs.

Curiously on September the 21st, 1987, President Ronald Reagan gave an ad-dress to the United Nations General Assembly. In an often-quoted section of hisspeech, Reagan asked rhetorical questions and commented about the nationsand cultures of the world uniting in a common effort if faced with an alien threatfrom outside the Earth.

By the 1990s more people across the world had access to digital cameras andcell phones that could take photos and record video footage. With the advent ofthe internet, and the introduction of social media websites like YouTube, peoplebegan to share their own video footage and photos of alleged UFOs. Some wereclever fakes while others appeared to be genuine.

Reports, collected from various news agencies and citizens around the world, reveals that something very strange, indeed, is going on in our skies. A stunningclaim came from the man who ran the Pentagon’s multimillion dollar UFO pro-gram, a top-secret operation that, for years, was dedicated to investigating UFOsightings. When asked if he believe there is off-world life out there, he responded,“My personal belief is that, yes, there is compelling evidence that we may not bealone.”

Police officers often observe UFOs. In one incident, in June 2008, a police he-licopter patrolling the skies above the city of Brighton, England observed an odd, tubelike object which was invisible to radar but easily visible to the pilot and hiscolleague. Sergeant John Pickner related the sighting thus: “We really didn’t knowwhat was in our airspace. We’re not used to seeing airborne craft over Brightonnormally. As soon as I spotted the object, I mentioned it to the pilot because I wasconcerned about other aircraft intruding into our airspace at nighttime and at thatlow level. We moved the helicopter to position it so we could capture the objecton camera and try to identify what it was. I never dreamed it was going to be littlegreen men, although we did share a little joke about it at the time.” The officialidentification of the object was never revealed, raising the suspicion that it wasextraterrestrial.

On Friday, March 5th, 2004, Mexican Air Force pilots filmed eleven unidenti-fied high flying objects in the skies over southern Campeche State, but the sight-ing was not revealed until May 12th. A press release was accompanied by a video

tape that showed eleven bright objects flying parallel to the surveillance aircraftthat was on the lookout for drug smuggling aircraft. The lights, which were invis-ible to the aircrew were filmed using infrared equipment at an altitude of 11,500feet.

In June, 2010, a civilian radar in Yakutsk, Russia, was filmed while tracking aUFO. The radar indicates the speed of the object at over 6,000 miles per hour andan altitude of over 12 miles (about 70,000 feet). The object changes direction in-stantly, which is impossible for any modern terrestrial aircraft. Compared to otheraircraft being tracked, the UFO’s progress is very fast. The object had not sentany transponder radio signal to the secondary surveillance radar and the radarhad tagged the object with a default number of five zero. The radar operatorswere clearly concerned about the speed and maneuvering of the UFO and dis-cussed it in rapid and excited radio transmissions.

Sixty years before the first widely reported alien abduction, Colonel H. G.Shaw claimed that he and a friend, Camilla Spooner, were confronted by threetall, slender humanoids whose bodies were covered with a fine, downy hair. Thebeings tried to abduct Shaw and his friend, who were able to fight them off. Thebeings then floated upwards towards a large oblong object, which then movedaway silently. This account was published in the Stockton, California Daily Mail in1897, and may have been linked to the mysterious airships seen during the latenineteenth century that had been observed in several locations in the United Statesand Canada.

Since the 1950s, more than four million Americans claim to have been abductedby aliens, and many others around the world have made similar claims. Since wecannot examine all of them, let’s at least examine the most significant three ab-duction cases. The most widely publicized case of direct contact with alleged oc-cupants of flying saucers began in 1952 when a Polish-born American citizen,George Adamski, claimed to have met a being from Venus called Orthon. Theunwitnessed meeting occurred in the California desert when Orthon exited froma scoutship constructed from some sort of translucent metal. Orthon and Adamskicommunicated via telepathy and hand signals, but no photos were allowed. Dur-ing their conversation, Orthon allegedly warned Adamski of the dangers of atomicwarfare and arranged for Adamski to be taken on a trip to observe the solar sys-tem, including the planet Venus.

Adamski claimed he had several meetings with slender, beautiful beingsUFOlogists now call “Nordics.” In addition to his trips around the solar system, which occurred from 1962 to 1965, Adamski allegedly visited Venus and Saturn.Adamski’s book, “The Flying Saucers Have Landed,” published in 1953, becamea worldwide sensation. He traveled all over the world delivering lectures andgiving interviews to the media.

In 1959, he had a personal audience with Queen Julianna of the Netherlandsand, in 1963, he delivered a secret message from the Venusians to Pope John Paulthe 13th at Vatican City. Adamski later produced a solid gold medal which heclaimed was presented to him by the Pope in exchange for his service of deliver-ing the secret message. George Adamski died in 1965 at the age of 74 from a heartattack.

Whether his experiences were genuine or not, Adamski painted a soothingpicture of beautiful and intelligent space beings who were deeply concerned withman’s production of weapons of mass destruction, however, since his death, peopleworldwide have reported having far more sinister and terrifying encounters withoffworlders.

On September 19th, 1961, around 10:30 P.M., Betty and Barney Hill, from Ports-mouth, New Hampshire, claimed to have been abducted by an offworlder whocommunicated with them before subjecting them to terrifying medical examina-tions.

What really happened to the Hills? As they were driving home from a vacationin Canada, Betty noticed a bright light in the sky as they drove along the NewHampshire seacoast just south of Lancaster. Betty watched the light, thinking thatit was a meteor, except it moved upward like an aircraft. As the light grew largerand brighter, Betty urged Barney to stop the car so she could have a better look atthe object, as well as to walk their dog. After they pulled to the side of the road,Barney took a closer look at the object through his binoculars. To his astonish-ment Hill saw multicolored lights and rows of windows on a flat-shaped craft whichseemed to be moving ever closer towards them. As the object moved to within ahundred feet of them, Barney could see humanlike figures inside. Frightened, heran back to the car where Betty waited. They climbed in and sped away.

As they drove along the isolated road, the object came even closer. The si-lent, illuminated craft moved erratically and bounced back and forth in the nightsky as if it were playing a game of cat and mouse. As they drove on, they began tohear a beeping sound and, although they had been driving only a couple of min-utes, they realized they were 35 miles further along the road. Eventually, theyarrived home safely and retired for the night.

When Betty awoke the next day, she telephoned her sister, Janet, who hadseen a UFO some years earlier, and told her about the strange object they hadobserved. Janet urged Betty to call Pease Air Force Base to report the sighting. After hearing Betty’s report, Major Paul W. Henderson told her the UFO had beenregistered by the AFB radar. When the Hills began to suffer from nightmares, theysought help from a psychiatrist, Doctor Benjamin Simon, who hypnotized them todiscover the root cause of the dreams.

Under hypnosis, they each separately described how they were abducted by

the offwordlers and shown around the craft before being subjected to the medi-cal examinations. Betty also revealed that she had been told the beings were fromZeta Reticuli, which was unknown to astronomers until it was discovered in 1969.Although the Hills, a quiet and unassuming couple, did not seek any publicityconcerning the encounter, they became media celebrities and their story wasadapted into the best selling 1966 book, “The Interrupted Journey,” and, in 1975,a television movie entitled, “The UFO Incident,” was made starring James EarlJones as Barney and Estelle Parsons as Betty.

The horror of the abduction effectively dispelled any notion of friendly, gentlespace beings for the Hills. Sadly, Barney Hill died from a cerebral hemorrhage onFebruary 25th, 1969, at the age of 46. Betty never remarried and died on October17th, 2004, at the age of 85. The Hill’s cultural legacy includes movies, televisionshows and books, all of which treated alien abduction as a real possibility.

One of the most documented cases in UFOlogy involved a woman named BettyAndreasson, whose first abduction occurred during childhood and culminatedwith an abduction experience that involved her entire family. On the evening ofJanuary 15th, 1967, Betty was in her kitchen at South Ashburnam, Massachusetts. Her seven children, father and mother were all gathered in the living room. Atabout 6:35 P.M., the house lights blinked out for a moment, frightening the chil-dren. This was immediately followed by a pulsing red-orange light that shownthrough the pantry window. As Betty tried to calm her children, her father rushedto look out the kitchen window where he saw a group of five strange looking smallcreatures approaching the house in a hopping motion.

One small creature then entered the house by passing right through the frontdoor. Others followed, each clothed in a tight blue uniform with a tight brownbelt. Their hands had three digits. They also appeared to wear boots and theyfloated rather than walked. Betty’s fear immediately evaporated and she began toexperience an overwhelming sense of friendship.

When Betty expressed concern for her family’s safety, the beings releasedher eleven-year-old daughter, Becky, from her paralysis to reassure Betty thatshe was unharmed. Betty was then taken outside and taken aboard a small craftresting on the side of a hill that sloped down into the back yard. The craft wasabout twenty feet in diameter and looked like two dinner plates, one invertedupon the other. The disk accelerated and apparently merged with a larger mothership, whereupon Betty was subjected to a physical examination.

Upon returning home, Betty found that her family was still in a state of sus-pended animation with one of the small beings in attendance. When the familywas released from their stasis, the offworlders departed. Betty had been hypno-tized and instructed not to reveal any details of her experience. Although somedetails of the abduction were lost to her, she was later able to recall portions of the

event.During her abduction, Betty became fearful and prayed for Jesus to help her.

The leader of the aliens was surprised, even startled, and urged her to follow himas the interaction continued. She noticed that the aliens began to move more slowlyand the leader frequently checked behind him to insure that Betty was still follow-ing him.

The being led Betty to a room where she encountered a tall being of brilliantlight she would later call, “The One.” This description of that particular being isremarkably similar to “The Being Of Light,” encountered by many during near-death experiences. Other abductees have told UFO investigators that their ab-ductors have emphasized that Jesus was really an ascended master, while othershave claimed to have actually met Him, along with the Buddah and other spiritualteachers of the past.

In 1977, Doctor J. Allen Hynek, founder of The Center For UFO Studies, and ahypnotist, Raymond E. Fowler, conducted a series of tests during more than a dozensessions with Betty Andreasson and her daughter, Becky. They were both able tounravel what happened to the family that night in 1967. Betty also recovered memo-ries of some events in 1944, 1949, and 1950.

Eventually, the full investigation team into the case included a solar physicist,an electronics engineer, an aerospace engineer, a telecommunications special-ist, and a UFO investigator. The case involved twenty months of investigation, dur-ing which time she was given a character reference check, two polygraph tests, apsychiatric review, and fourteen sessions of rigorous hypnotic regression. Theresults of the inquiry was startling.

Betty, along with her daughter, relived a detailed account of the abductionexperience, agreeing on all the basic aspects. The results were published in a528-page account, which stated that Betty and her daughter were sane individu-als who sincerely believed all the details given during the investigation. The BettyAndreasson case is till being studied and investigated.

Many abductees, including adults and children, have spoken of their terrorduring the events, including severe physical pain they experienced as the ab-ductors inserted probes and other devices into their ears, noses, genitalia andanal passages. Some abductees have mentioned seeing other humans aboard theUFOs, appearing frail or having blood drained from their bodies, and even see-ing human body parts being preserved in containers.

Often they are warned by the abductors that they will meet the same fate ifthey do not cooperate. Still, other victims speak of seeing bizarre creatures thatappear to be some kinds of hybrids. The aliens always tell the victims that theexperiments are for their own good, but rarely explain why.

According to the FBI National Crime Investigations Center’s missing persons

files, there are 88,040 active missing persons records, of which, juveniles underthe age of 18 account for well over 33,700 of the record. Although we are not claim-ing that all missing persons in the USA or any other country are the result of alienabductions, the statistics are nevertheless disturbing.

Another phenomenon that is firmly entrenched in the world of UFOs is theenduring mystery of the so-called “Men In Black”. A 1977 movie of the same namestarring Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, were such a resounding success thatsequels followed in 2002 and 2012. The movies portrayed the Men in Black asoperatives of a secret government agency who work with “good” aliens to fight“bad” aliens to protect the Earth. The agents also visit people who claim to havehad UFO encounters, and erase their memories with a small hand-held device.

But the behavior of the real men in black is far more unsettling, according tothose who have encountered them in real life. Many witnesses who have seenUFOs, including those who have never spoken of the sightings, have often beenvisited by the strange humanlike beings.

Descriptions of the Men In Black throughout the decades remains virtuallyidentical with few differences. They always dress in black suits, fedora hats, withwhite shirts and black ties and black shoes. They sometimes wear sunglasses andoften appear to be identical twins. They appear to have pale, almost placid skin, with staring eyes with no eyebrows or lashes. Usually only one will talk while theother stares at the witness, making them feel uncomfortable. They may move inodd, robotic fashion.

They are always associated with large, classic automobiles, and sometimesblack SUVs. Witnesses claim that the men in black have visited their homes, pos-sess detailed knowledge about them, and caution them to never reveal the de-tails of their UFO encountered at the risk of dire consequences, including death oftheir families and themselves.

One of the first encounters with the men in black occurred in 1956 when aformer U. S. Army clerk named Albert K. Bender, encountered them in a dark, supernatural form. It was this encounter that led to the author, Gray Barker, to penthe 1956 tale, “They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers.” Bender describedthe MIB as ghoulish characters with shining eyes who seemed to be malevolentspirits who appeared in his bedroom in the dead of night and hovered over hisbed.

They revealed to Bender that they captured humans and used their forms tohide their true appearances, and warned him to keep his mouth shut about UFOs.In 1952, Bender established a popular publication called Space Review andfounded the International Flying Saucer Bureau. In 1953, Bender claimed hehad made a number of important discoveries concerning UFOs and that he hadarrived at a comprehensive understanding of what the UFO phenomenon on Earth

was, what they wanted, where they came from, and more; however, Bender’s en-counters with the terrifying figures prompted him to shut down his organizationand give up all future involvement in UFO research. Six years later, Benderemerged briefly from UFO retirement to publish his book on the disturbing affair, entitled, “Flying Saucers And The Three Men.” After the book was published,Bender gave up UFO research entirely. He later claimed that not only were thethree MIB dressed identically, but that they were surrounded by a blue glow thatsmelled strongly of sulphur.

Perhaps most telling was Bender’s fascination with the occult. He had arrangedhis attic into a chamber of horrors that was filled with paintings of demons, blackcats, skeletons, vampires and bats. He even had an alter of sorts upon which heclaimed to have summoned spirits from time to time. Bender had a deep interestin the world of the paranormal, UFOs, and the occult in both fact and fiction.

One of the most recent and compelling accounts concerning the MIB occurredin the Spring of 2009 at the Sheraton Hotel on the banks of Niagara Falls, NewYork. On October 14th, 2008, the general manager and the hotel security guardhad seen a triangle-shaped UFO flying slowly and silently above the hotel. Thecraft emitted a beam of bright white light directed downward toward the water. As they observed the craft the light beam shifted direction and aimed directly atthe two witnesses, which rather frightened them. One week later the managerobserved another black triangle craft, a bit smaller than the previous one, flyingdirectly above the hotel parking lot at about 1 A. M.

On May 15th, 2009, two tall, identically dressed men walked into the hotel andasked to see the general manager. The bellman told the odd looking men that themanager was not working that day. The two men appeared not to believe him andbegan walking around the hotel looking for the manager.

One female employee later stated that the odd appearing men made her feelvery uncomfortable. She recalled that the two men began to speak of things thatmade no sense to her regarding governments and conspirators. She recalled thatthe two men had no facial hair, no eyebrows, and had large blue hypnotic eyesthat did not blink. They also appeared to be wearing wigs that were attached totheir hats. She felt they could actually read her mind. This sensation was so strongthat she tried not to think about the manager when in the presence of the twomen.

So who are these mysterious men in black? It is likely that at least some of theenigmatic figures are members of a government or military agency who make ittheir business to investigate UFO sightings and closely question eyewitnesses, and sometimes even intimidate them into silence.

In his book, “The UFO Silencers,” Timothy Beckley has presented an over-view of significant MIB encounters. Beckley speculates that the men in black have

been on Earth for hundreds of years and that such diverse characters from thehistory of witchcraft and folklore, such as the Elizabethan “black men,” nativeAmerican “black men,” and late 19th century reports of malevolent traveling sales-men may have been manifestations of what we now term the “men in black.”

Perhaps the most knowledgable investigator in this field is author and re-searcher, Nick Redfern, originally from the United Kingdom, and now living inDallas, Texas. In his book, “Men In Black, Personal Stories And Eerie Encoun-ters,” Redfern includes many personal encounters with the men in black frompeople who have contacted him over many years. Some of the claims are bizarreand unsettling, leaving little doubt that, for the most part, the MIB should be avoidedat all costs, if possible.

Throughout UFO history human contactees have been told different things bythe aliens concerning their origins. In medieval times, the crew of a ship observedsailing through the clouds, stated that they were from a land in the sky calledMagonia, while the crew members of the mystery airship that appeared in thelate 19th century told their human observers that they were from another conti-nent.

In the 1950s, the so-called visitors told George Adamski and others that theywere from Venus or Mars. But we now know that these claims are false, however,Betty Hill was told by her captors that they came from Zeta Reticuli, which is justtoo far away for our science to confirm. In every case, the aliens—or whateverthey are—appear to be singularly deceptive concerning their origin and purpose.

In his groundbreaking book, “Passport To Magonia,” published in 1969,French computer scientist and UFO expert, Jacques Valle, stated: “The beingsmasquerading as aliens may be interdimensional rather than extraterrestrial, andtheir appearance throughout history has been deliberately planned to fit with thecultural and religious perceptions of the different time periods in our history.”

PerceptionsA pilot reported that he saw a group of lights, and the tower was trying to

direct him to the group of targets and he flew towards them and, obviously, fromhis report, they appeared to be all around him when he checked in, and then theyvanished.

On July 8th, 1947, the United States Army reportedly claimed they had recov-ered a crashed flying saucer near Roswell, New Mexico. But the following day,the Army recanted the sensational claim, stating the debris was nothing more thana downed weather balloon, and, for the next thirty years, the Army’s official weatherballoon explanation remained unchallenged and virtually forgotten.

In 1978, however, a retired Air Force Major, named Jesse Marcel, former in-telligence officer at Roswell Air Field, finally broke the silence and revealed thatthe debris he handled from the 1947 crash site was “not of this earth.” It should benoted that Major Marcel made no mention of seeing a crashed saucer or alienbodies; only a vast field of metal fragments scattered over the New Mexico desert.

But Major Marcel’s 1997 disclosure unleashed a cascade of testimonies andconjectures that have reverberated throughout popular media since 1947. Talesof alien bodies, exotic technologies and captured flying saucers have embellishedMarcel’s original account into what has become a vast popular mythic urban leg-end.

But despite its global popularity, does the mythos, now termed, “UFOlogy,”offer the light of solid truth and light at the end of the tunnel or just an endless, murky labyrinth of smoke and mirror deceptions; a long and winding trail of amaz-ing conjectures and anecdotal accounts that offer no definable proof, creating anenigmatic game of perceptions.

To discover the truth in this mysterious game, let’s begin our quest by reach-ing further back in time than the Roswell incident to World War Two when myste-rious lights called “Foo Fighters,” were reported by bomber crews flying mis-sions over Germany. Were the foo fighters observed by bomber crews of extra-terrestrial origin, or were they nuts and bolts machines devised by the Germans,or were they an exotic combination of both?

Famed rocket designer, Hermann Oberth, cryptically stated that Germany’samazing technologies were just that. “We cannot take all the credit for our scien-

tific technologies alone. We have had help.” When asked by whom, he replied,“The people of other worlds.”

A deeper examination of German flying saucer legends reveals secret societ-ies of prewar Germany were actively seeking contact with ET intelligences. Psy-chic medium, Maria Orsic, of the Vril Society, reported successful telepathic com-munications with beings from the Aldebaran star system in 1919.

German secret societies delved deep into occult sources in order to uncoveralternate propulsion technologies from remote antiquity. Yet, despite tales of suc-cessful flying saucer projects the Germans failed to deploy their miracle weap-ons to rescue Germany from military defeat. But just two years after cessation ofhostilities, the flying saucer craze gripped the American imagination.

In June of 1947, a private pilot named Kenneth Arnold reported seeing a for-mation of nine shining objects cruising along at an unprecedented speed of 1600miles per hour near Mount Rainier, Washington. In his words, the craft flew like asaucer would if skipped across a body of water and, of course, the following monthlater, in July, 1947, an even more astounding event was recorded in banner head-lines as a crashed flying saucer was recovered by the U. S. Army bomber group atRoswell, New Mexico.

But 50 years later, Colonel Philip Co
