In this workshop we will explore how Strength-based Lean is applied in the #emba, learn to see

processes with new eyes and begin to transform the practice of #emba. 'e will learn how to

observe processes differently, apply new tools such as $the ( signs of value$ and strength-based

process mapping together with frameworks such as S)A* to completely re-frame how we look at our

processes and truly learn how value is created... and grown+

group in the 3S?. 6e has delivered AI workshops in both the 3S and in =urope. 6e offers a strong platform of strength-based approaches to change. %hey include/ Appreciative

focused dialogue approaches.

In 9ovember BC5 he published his book ‘Strength-based Lean Six Sigma. Building positive and

engaging business improvement’. It is the first book to use approaches in business

improvement as well as organisational change for optimum organisational performance

and improved agility.

Theo van den Eijnden is an indepent professional in positive change and organisationaldevelopment. He has a vast experience in quality and change management in whichAppreciative Inquiry always played a leading part.

Theo is an Appreciative Inquiry trainer and practitioner for about eight years now and

developed a strong believe in the positive power of individuals, teams, organisations and

implementation to innovation*. The aim of the pro#ect was to advance in and spread theuse of strength based change and learning approaches in adult eduction in urope.

Theo is also trained in 'ean (ix (igma and was immediately very interested when he firstmet +avid at a uropean AI etwork -eeting and talked with him about the combinationof 'ean (ix (igma and Appreciative Inquiry.
