The Tech Partnership invites you to share industry success and innovation with our students. Your lecture or masterclass should fall under one of our diverse themes and cover content on one or more of our degree programmes.

You will deliver your lecture at one of our partnering universities in front of students where it will also be recorded and made available to all other universities on our online lecture library.

Lectures should include: A technology based solution (beyond a student project level) about project objectives, delivery and management. At least one core area of technology, software engineering or project management and its relevance to industry today. The business team environment, relevant professional skills, technology innovation and leadership behaviours.

What is the aim of an industry insight? Companies can excite students about how computing is applied and challenged in industry.

Discussions about an emerging technology, tool or methodology as practised by experts.

Employers can directly with students and raise profile of skills and careers in your field.

Visit https://www.thetechpartnership.com/community-home/guru-lectures/ for the full lecture library and latest dates.

Lecture Format

The lectures should be engaging and interactive and the recording should last no longer than 50 minutes. It is recommended that lectures follow the following structure:

- Start with an introduction explaining your career journey - 20-25 minutes discussing your topic- A pause with a slide with some points for the students to discuss (this is designed to give

universities the option to discuss your lecture with the room, think about how they would tackle a similar problem)
