EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

INTRODUCTION:

We are introducing the business of manufacturing Fly Ash Bricks with a view point of eliminating Fly Ash as an Environment Pollutant which provides the huge benefit to organization as well as to environment.

MISSION:“To provide and promote an eco-friendly

technology and strengthen the brick manufacturing sector for the ultimate benefit of its customers and society."

VISION:To be in the forefront of creating

awareness about environment, & to be the largest player in the field of fly-ash brick production.

MARKET POTENTIAL

•The country consumes billion tones bricks, exhausting billion tones of clay every year and acres of top soil land is made unfertile for a long period. The government is seriously concerned over soil erosion for production of massive quantities of bricks, in the background of enormous housing needs.•The excellent engineering property and durability of fly ash brick enlarges its scope for application in building construction and development of infrastructure, construction of pavements, dams, tanks, under water works, canal lining and irrigation work etc. Enormous quantity of fly ash is available in and around thermal power stations. The demand of bricks could be met by establishing manufacturing units near thermal power stations and to meet the local demand with less transportation costs.

ADVANTAGES

•Due to high strength, practically no breakage during transport and use.•Due to uniform size of bricks, mortar required for joints and plaster reduces almost 50%.•Due to lower water penetration, seepage of water through bricks reduced.•These bricks do not required soaking in water for 24 hours. Only sprinkling of water before use is enough.

BRICKS PROPERTIESAppearance: Bricks have a pleasing cement color, uniform in shade and smooth also do not require plastering for building works.Thermal Conductivity: They do not absorb heat, reflects it and gives max. light reflection.Sound Insulation: It provides an acceptable degree of sound insulation.Fire and vermin resistance:They have good fire rating. It has no problem of vermin attacks.

PROPERTIES

Durability and Moisture Content:These blocks are highly durable. Water absorption is 6-12%, reducing dampness of the walls.Toxicity and Sustainability:No toxicity since fly ash changes into non-toxic product when mixed with lime. Thus having potential as good building material.

STRUCTURAL CAPABILITY

•These bricks provide advantages being available in several load bearing grades and giving smart looking brickwork.•High compressive strength eliminates breakages/ wastages during transport and handling.•Due to comparable density, do not cause any extra load on structures and suitable for earthquake loads.

APPLICABILITY

Blocks available in several loads bearings grades used in:

•Load bearing external walls, in low and medium size structures.•Non-load bearing internal walls.•High load bearing external or internal walls in high-size buildings.
