Fluffy Flower pattern

Use any yarn and appropriate hook for yarn.

Using US crochet terms:beg = beginningrnd = roundch = chainsp = spacest = stitchsl st = slip stitchsc = single crochetdc = double crochetdtr = double treble (triple) crochet

Rnd 1: Leave long starting yarn to attach button at the end of making flower. 10 Sc in magic circle/ring or ch 2, 10 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join in beg sc. (10 sc)

Rnd 1 finished.

Fluffy Flower patternRnd 2: (Ch 1, 5 dc, ch 1) in same stitch, (sl st, ch 1) next stitch, [(5 dc, ch 1) in next stitch, (sl st , ch 1) next stitch] 4x. (5 petals)

Rnd 3: Working behind petals, [sl st in sc on rnd 1 between 2nd and 3rd dc of next petal, ch 4] 5x, join in beg sl st. (5 loops)

Rnd 3 finished. Back view of all 5 loops made. Loops made here in green for illustration visibility.

Back view of the 1st ch 4 made to make 1st loop.

Front view. This rnd makes 5 back loops for the next set of petals to be made in Rnd 4. Insert hook the in the middle of each petal from the back (between 2nd and 3rd dc) then insert hook back through the front of Rnd 1 sc then make sl st in the back of that petal then ch 4 and repeat for a total of 5 loops.

First petal made. Rnd 2 finished.

Fluffy Flower pattern

In this rnd the 2nd set of petals are made. Each petal is made in the ch 4 spaces. This is the side view of the 1st petal worked on this Rnd 4.

Rnd 4: (Sl st, ch 1, dc, 5 dtr, dc, ch1, sl st) in each ch sp around, join in beg sl st. (5 petals)

Rnd 5: Working behind petals, [ch 4, sl st in ch sp on rnd 3 in sp between 2nd and 3rd dtr of next petal, ch 4, sl st in st on rnd 4 between petals] 5x. (10 loops)

Rnd 4 finished.

Rnd 5 finished. Back view of all 10 loops made. Loops made here in green for illustration visibility.

This rnd is similar to that of Rnd 3 in that loops are made. 2 Loops will be made behind each petal making 10 total loops.

2 Loops made behind a petal—each petal will have 2 loops behind it.

Fluffy Flower pattern

Finishing: Attach button using starting end yarn. Weave in end.

Rnd 6: (Sl st, ch 1, dc, 4 dtr, dc, ch 1, sl st) in each ch sp around, join in beg sl st. (10 petals) Fasten off and weave end or leave long tail for sewing.
