Dear Sir/ Madam, I am writing in response to your current need for a Flow assurance Engineer advertised on http://abdn.prospects.ac.uk I have been working for the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation responsible for processing 28% of Nigerias crude being refined locally. During my foundation training programme, courses tailored for operators in the Oil and gas industry were taught, exposing me to practices in the upstream and downstream sector. My background includes a B.Eng degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters degree in Chemical Process Engineering at the University College London. Course modules taught include Advanced Safety and Loss Prevention, Fluid Particle Systems, Energy Systems and Sustainability, Advanced Process Engineering, Advanced Process Modeling, Environmental Systems and a Research Project titled Wave characteristics in a stratified oil-water flow. Several computational tools like GAMS, gPROMS, MATLAB, CHEMCAD were used to model chemical processes and equipments or modify existing ones while taking into account environmental and economic standards. I have the technical skills and creativity required to achieve the best in processed products every day. I have worked with others, as well as independently, and have been successful in both positions.
