FLOOR STANDING FILLER/SHOWER

FOR WARRANTY PURPOSES.

Temperature and Pressure LimitsWarranty Document

The warranty is transferable but the original proof of purchase from an authorised Decina distributor is required for all claims.

Decina’s liability will not extend to damage caused by reasonably foreseeable loss such as inappropriate materials in a wet area ie. floating wooden floors.

Waterlines to tapware incorporating a ceramic cartridge or ceramic disc mechanism should have an inline strainer or filter fitted. Absence of these may void the warranty.

Any suspected defect must be notified to Decina as soon as possible after discovery. All repair work must be performed by a plumber who has received authorisation from Decina prior to proceeding with the work. Decina may immediately authorise repair work to be undertaken, however, this is not necessarily acceptance of liability.

Decina guarantee that the tapware will be able to handle temperatures up to a maximum of 80°C.

Water pressure up to 1000 kPa is the maximum limit for the tapware. Above this the warranty will become void.

DECINA OFFERS THE FOLLOWING WARRANTY PERIODS ON ITSRANGE OF AQUATICA TAPWARE FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

A copy of the product label and testing sticker is provided here for easy

reference, should you ever need to talk to us

about your product

THE PROPERTY OWNER:

DON’T PANIC! A trace of water in the box is normal, as a result of final testing.

INSTALLATIONFor shower mixers the recommended backset is 60mm (check label for exact range). Hot left hand side. Cold right hand side. Outlet up. For sink and basin mixers, the most common mounting hole size is 34mm; for gooseneck sink mixers the hole size is 38mm. However, always check by measuring the product first. (Please ensure that you select the correct mounting hole size so that the o-ring can seal correctly to the mounted surface, ie. hole should be smaller than o-ring).

For cold water pressures above 600 kPa we recommend the installation of a pressure limiting valve.

• Recommended Operational Pressure Range: 50 - 600 kPa

• Maximum Operating Temp: 80°C Never to Exceed: 1000 kPa

Care and Maintenance

To retain the original look of your tapware, the following guidelines should be observed:

• Do not use acidic or abrasive detergents, spray cleaners, rough sponges or metallic cleaning pads.

• Do not use alcohol based products, disinfectants or solvents.

• To remove dirt or calcium, clean with mild detergent and water, then thoroughly rinse with clean water and dry with a clean soft cloth.

The use of spray or abrasive cleaners of any kind will void the warranty.

COMMERCIAL USE

Only high quality workmanship and materials have been used in the manufacture of Decina’s tapware. If any workmanship or material is proven faulty during the warranty period, Decina will, at its own option, repair or replace the faulty product.

About the Warranty

The ceramic cartridge used in Aquatica mixers has a 15 year replacement warranty. If a fault occurs during the first 12 months from purchase, the part will be replaced on site. Other parts carry a 7 year replacement warranty. There is no on site warranty for shower heads, pull out spray hoses and spray heads but they carry a 2 year replacement parts warranty. Other working parts that fail during the first 12 months will be replaced on site. The finish on powder coated tapware carries a 2 year warranty. The use of spray or abrasive cleaners will dull the finish and void the warranty.
