Job Descriptions

Possess a valid Crane Operator Certificate from CITI (Construction Industry Training Institute), PSA, ITE or equivalent.

Preferably with working experience as crane operator on crane barge.

(Those without experience on crane barge or sheerleg can apply, as training will be provided)

Willing to work irregular hours.

Ensure that the assigned barge is operated in an efficient and safe manner at all times.

Manage all crew members on board.

Liaise with shipping department personnel on matters concerning permit.

Supervise the routine and non-routine maintenance of all electrical, hydraulic and mechanical system.

Require heavy lift crane operators to have reading, writing and math skills of a level sufficient to enable them to comprehend load/capacity charts.

In addition, the operator must have the skills to read and understand equipment manufacturers' operations and maintenance guides and manuals.

Day-to-day activities includes but not limited to heavy lifting of marine offshore steel structures.

Position 2                                        Rigger (Qty:08)

Preferable candidates who are familiar with Hand Signal & Communication with VHF Radio.

Preferable candidates who possess basic knowledge and experience in Stevedoring/ Rigging (loading/unloading) and Lashing/Unlashing (chain/wire/ web sling)

To perform stevedoring/rigging/lashing/unlashing in the lifting operation.

Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment - Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment.

Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer

Brazil – Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz (Work and live on the floating barge with accommodation)

Possess sea-going experience as 2nd or 3rd Engineer holding Class 3 COC or equivalent.

Familiar with Electrical system onboard vessel.

Troubleshooting and overhauling of diesel engines, winches and hydraulic system.

To manage crews and rating in the engine department.
