Immediate Fix• Negotiated over $4M of vendor returns and vendor funding support on markdowns.Short Term Solution• Planned strategic, aggressive promotional offers for the 2014 Summer program .

• Relied on promotions and sales data to determine optimal timing.• Mitigated $2M of excess risk which would have directly impacted the bottom line.

Long Term Solution• Restructured Seasonal Appliance inventory strategy from import to domestic.

• Renegotiated vendor agreements for domestic pricing, risk mitigation and promotional funding support.
