Overbending theoptical fibe cables damages thecables andcan detachordamagetheconnectors. Donotbendoptical fibrecables toaradiussmaller thantheminimumradius of 70mm( 2. inches).

Theoptical fibreconnectoris fragile.Handleitwithcare.Always routetheoptical cables totheleftfromtheconnector.Donotconnectoptical cables inatemperaturelowerthan-20C.

Optical fibres aresensitive. Thepresenceofcontaminants willlowerthemechanicalstrength oftheoptical fibreandmay dampenthetransmission oflightinthefibres. Cleanalloptical fibreconnectors beforeinstallationusing anoptical fibreconnectorcleaning kit.
