1. Introduction

FLEXCUBE Global Support team issues a quarterly advisory of critical patches that may be

applicable to your installation. A critical patch advisory is a collection of solutions

addressing various techno-functional aspects of FLEXCUBE products.

As a part of production support process we endeavor to proactively provide solutions in

application areas where possible discrepancies have been encountered across system

installations / in our factory. Such information is regularly shared with customers on an

ongoing basis. To facilitate this further, we are providing a list of such items in a

consolidated manner on quarterly basis. FLEXCUBE Critical Patch Update Advisory: April

– June 2013 lists the critical items for which solutions were published during this period for

FLEXCUBE Universal Banking, FLEXCUBE Direct Banking, FLEXCUBE Core Banking

and FLEXCUBE Private Banking products.

Customers need to review the list provided herewith and verify if the patches are relevant to

their business and installation. Customers should highlight items that are applicable and need

to be incorporated at their installation to our respective product support teams. Our support

teams will take up further analysis based on criticality, dependency and impact analysis for

deployment in your production environment. Support team will further work out action plan

jointly for incorporating the same at your installation.

deployment aspects of these items will be critically dependent on specific product

configuration implemented by the customer, hardware environment/configuration and

version of the third party software deployed. The items published in this patch advisory may

be dependent or related to earlier patch updates published before this bulletin. Hence, we

strongly recommend that customers consult our respective product support teams before

deployment of any patches mentioned in the list. Respective product support teams will be
