Flag and Motto #3

Create a flag and motto for your island

• Make sure to include at least three colors.

• Explain each color and what it means on the back.

• Create a motto in both English and Latin… go to Google translate to translate to Latin.

                                              

                                             

                                                

WHITEWhite often represents peace, purity, mountain snow, and/or innocence. A

simple white flag represents surrender.

                                          

 YELLOW (GOLD)

Yellow often represents the sun, wealth, and/or justice.

BLACK Black often represents determination, ethnic heritage,and/or defeating one's enemies.

BLUE Blue often represents freedom, vigilance, perseverance,justice,prosperity, peace, and/or patriotism.

What colors stand for on flags

GREENGreen can symbolize the Earth, agriculture, fertility,and/or the Muslim religion.

Write out an inspirational line to represent your country.

Examples:

“In God we Trust”

“United we Stand, Divided we Fall”

Etc.

Island SymbolsMust create 5 symbols and what they stand for

Symbols can be Island tree, animal, fossil, food, color, flower, etc.

Each item needs to have a picture and a short description of what it is. Place them on a blank sheet of printer paper.

Items should related to the theme.

your island #15You can create a map of wildlife, amusement parks, camping and/or hunting spots, Candy factory tour maps, Maps of top discoveries, etc. etc.

If a map doesn’t strike you then try a list of national holidays, a national anthem or pledge, Top ten list of famous people or groups to visit your island, etc.

Any additional information that is appropriate to your island is acceptable. Let your creativity be your guide on this one!
