EMFF (2014-2020):• FIC is long-term project

• Budget for fisheries sector 5.8 mln EUR (for entire period)

• Budget for aquaculture sector 1.12 mln EUR (for entire period)

• Funded by EMFF (measure 1.3 and 2.6) and it is a project(applicant is Tartu University)

• 6 employees

• The activities are aimed to fishing sector (example: costalfiheries, trawling sector, processing sector and aquaculture)

Trainings:• Round tables/information days

• Different trainings (example: how to write a good strategies,how to make correct public procurement, study trips etc.)

• Fish training for children andyoung people

Fish trainings for children and young people and the purpose wasto introduce fish for youngsters and train them again to consumefish. Message was „Fish is good and it is good for your health!“
