Partnerships: Have the partnerships described in the grant application worked out and do you have any new ones? How have your partners helped and what

do you expect for the coming year?

Yes, Our Project is highly supported by Malang Municipality Health Department and all of staff in Child Health Department Medical Faculty

Brawijaya University/Saiful Anwar General Hospital Malang, Indonesia. There isn’t new partnership. The section of Maternal and Child Health of

12

Malang municipality Health Department made several coordination with the Head of 15 Primary Health Care in Malang and get some participants that

have not been trained in IMCI. All of our staff in Child Heatlh Department support the project (as organizing commitee and as a speaker). We expect

this excellent partnership will continue for the coming year. We do hope to Community Health Department, NGOs (eg, Rotary Club, Lions Club),

Pharmaceutical and Baby Food Companies as collaborating partners for the coming year. For the coming year, we will collaborate with Health

department of Malang district and/or privates hospital to gain participants that have not been trained in IMCI.
