MS 82/6Wilson Family Papers 1916-1919 Includes letters, diary and papers of James Blackburn Wilson relating to his service with the French Red Cross and the British Army during and immediately after World War 1. Correspondence is to Wilson's family in Alva and describes his daily life and work, together with details of the areas in which he is based. He also gives some descriptions of military action. Also includes a transcript in diary form of part of the correspondence and framed testimonials from Section Sanitaire Anglaise No.2 and from the British Committee of the French Red Cross.
