On a cold April day On a snowbank did lay

A frightened and hungry lost dog. I whistled, she came, without delay

And entered our hearts In a most affectionate way. We searched for her owner,

Alas, she’s a loner But trained and friendly to boot.

We claimed her and named her.. Who’s “Lucky”?

We ask since we’ve known her! The world was a mess But she came to bless,

Proving love is stronger than hate. Yes, God sends his Son

In the form of one who frees us from our fate.

With unbounded love, Kisses soft as a glove, He fills empty places

Gives and receives embraces, Reminding us

All grace comes from above. We’ve no better way Our love to convey

Than through faith and a hope enduring, that shines in a star away yet not far, on the bed where our dear Jesus lay.

To give credit….My wife, Kathy wrote a poem for our Christmas letter and I wanted to share it with you.

ANGEL TREE NAMES

If you are interested in taking Angel Tree Names early please call or

text Linda Anseth at 426-2462. Let her know if you want a girl or boy

and how many names you would like and we will hold those names for

you in the office.

The gifts have to be delivered to the church no later than

December 13th, 2020. They are also wanting chapstick, hats, mittens,

scarfs, & non-perishable food items (canned goods with "pop top" lids) to

give to the children. If you have any questions please call Linda at 663-

2933.

In order for your contributions to be posted to 2020, contributions must be

received in the church office by Monday, December 28th, 2020. Our mailing

address is: 408 9th St. NW, Mandan, ND 58554.

If you bring your contribution to the church office anytime after

December 28th, it cannot be recorded in 2020.

Thank you for the many ways you contribute to the ministries of this

congregation. When you share the gifts that God has entrusted you, you are

growing in your relationship with Him and ministry continues. It’s with great joy

that we can look forward to where God might be leading us in the present and in

the future.
