Prayer of the Day: We thank you, heavenly Father, that You have delivered us from the dominion of sin and death and brought us into the kingdom of Your Son; and we pray that, as by His death He has recalled us to life, so by His love He may raise us to eternal joys; who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen!

WE LISTEN TO GOD

*Hymn of Approach “Speak, O Lord” Congregation Speak, O Lord, as we come to You

To receive the food of Your Holy Word. Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;

Shape and fashion us in Your likeness, That the light of Christ might be seen today

In our acts of love and our deeds of faith. Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us

All Your purposes for Your glory.

Teach us, Lord, full obedience,

Holy reverence, true humility; Test our thoughts and our attitudes

In the radiance of Your purity. Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see

Your majestic love and authority. Words of pow’r that can never fail -

Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

3

Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;

Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us - Truths unchanged from the dawn of time

That will echo down through eternity. And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises,

And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us. Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built

And the earth is filled with Your glory.

The Flowers of Spring! This year we would like to try something a little different with the flowers beds around the church. When you pick up your bedding plants and if you wish to, pick up a 6 or 12 pack of flowers for the church flower beds as well. George is most willing to plant them for us and to maintain them. It can be any type of flower you wish but remember that the flower beds are not full sun and we seem to have better luck with shade and drought plants, but petunias, snap dragons, geraniums, marigolds and alyssum have all done well as I am sure would others. Plants can be brought to the church beginning the May long weekend.

KLC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: MAY 1ST

Please join us at Westhill Park Baptist Church Sunday, May 1st, 12 noon for some lunch and then immediately following lunch we will begin the meeting and give detailed updates on what is happening in the life of the camp!
