The target group of the education Project Engineers, Product Managers and those employed within Technical Sales. The goal of the training course The overall objective of any Fire Eater College training course is to provide anyone working with Fire Eater with a greater understanding of the most common guidelines when working with Fire Eater equipment. The Project Engineer training course A 3 day training course during which the student will gain advanced knowledge of the various extinguishing agents on the market, with special focus on INERGEN®. The student will receive a through introduction to Fire Eater components, typically including Fire Eater’s Control Inert system (Ci-system), including stand-alone systems, selector valves and activation options. The introduction will also cover basic hardware theory with- in the Fire Eater product range and the rules and regulations which may have a influence on how the product should be designed and handled. Most of the Project Engineer training course will focus on the Inergen Management Tool (IMT-software). The Project Engineer training course begins with a basic introduction to the IMT-software and ends up with a more advanced understanding of the design principles when designing, engineering and working with Fire Eater systems. Skills obtained during the training course After completing the training course, graduates should be able to design a Fire Eater INERGEN® system. This will typically include working with different design concentrations, pipe design, being able to calculate pres- sure relief, flow and pipe dimensions, for stand-alone and multi-zone systems and generating part lists for the prepara- tion of quotations. Conditions and limitations The Project Engineer training course is largely hands-on and students are required to bring a laptop computer. The lap- top will need to have administrator access in order to install the IMT-software. In order to provide the best possible training environment, the Project Engineer training course is typically limited to 4-6 students at a time. The training is conducted in English, so participants should be reasonably competent in understanding written and spoken English. G raduates of Fire Eater College will take an exam in order to obtain a competency certificate with a validity of 3 years from the date of issue.

The main objective with the Fire Eater Project Engineer education is to provide project engineers with the proper skills to enable them to work with the IMT-soft-ware (INERGEN® -Management Tool).

The target group of the educationProject Engineers, Product Managers and those employed within Technical Sales.

The goal of the training courseThe overall objective of any Fire Eater College training course is to provide anyone working with Fire Eater with a greater understanding of the most common guidelines when working with Fire Eater equipment.

The Project Engineer training courseA 3 day training course during which the student will gain advanced knowledge of the various extinguishing agents on the market, with special focus on INERGEN®.

The student will receive a through introduction to Fire Eater components, typically including Fire Eater’s Control Inert system (Ci-system), including stand-alone systems, selector valves and activation options.

The introduction will also cover basic hardware theory with-in the Fire Eater product range and the rules and regulations which may have a in uence on how the product should be designed and handled.

Most of the Project Engineer training course will focus on the Inergen Management Tool (IMT-software).

The Project Engineer training course begins with a basic introduction to the IMT-software and ends up with a more advanced understanding of the design principles when designing, engineering and working with Fire Eater systems.

Skills obtained during the training courseAfter completing the training course, graduates should be able to design a Fire Eater INERGEN® system.

This will typically include working with di erent design concentrations, pipe design, being able to calculate pres-sure relief, ow and pipe dimensions, for stand-alone and multi-zone systems and generating part lists for the prepara-tion of quotations.

Conditions and limitationsThe Project Engineer training course is largely hands-on and students are required to bring a laptop computer. The lap-top will need to have administrator access in order to install the IMT-software.

In order to provide the best possible training environment, the Project Engineer training course is typically limited to 4-6 students at a time.
