Fire detection and life safety systems have never been higher on the agenda for building owners and managers. Fire Detection & Alarm SystemsWe supply, install and maintain fire detection and alarm systems, ranging from standalone conventional systems up to multi-site networked addressable fire detection systems. Emergency Voice Communication Systems (EVCS)Emergency voice communications systems can have several different elements within any given building, including disabled refuge systems, fire telephone systems, paging systems (for people with hearing difficulties) and disabled toilet alarms.

Within the Equality Act -2010, formerly The Disability Discrimination Act, it is the responsibility of all companies to ensure that access to buildings and services is available to everyone, removing any form of discrimination.

We supply and install emergency voice communication (EVC) systems to provide two-way communication during the evacuation of a building during a fire or other emergency. The EVC system not only allows firefighters to communicate with one another during emergency situations but also allows additional communication with disabled persons and members of the public seeking assistance. All our systems meet the requirements of BS5839 Part 9.

Fire Suppression SystemsFixed fire suppression systems bring peace of mind to those that need to protect critical assets, processes and support mechanisms. Site conditions vary tremendously, which is why we use a variety of different solutions such as inert and chemical gases, CO2, foam, high and low-pressure water mist, condensed aerosol and, where fires absolutely must not start in the first place, hypoxic systems.

Regardless of whether you are responsible for a data centre, printing press, power network, remote track side cabinets, wind farm, sterilisation units – to name just a few – we have the expertise to provide a suitable solution and ongoing support.

Public Address/Voice Alarms (PA/VA)We supply and install both standalone and fully networked Public Address & Voice Alarm systems (PA/VA) to meet the stringent requirements of BS5839-8 2013. Working in partnership with industry-leading manufacturers, we have continued to receive additional accreditations including Baldwin Boxalls ‘Gold’ status.

Designed and built for each specific project, PAVA systems offer the quickest means of evacuating large volumes of people out of a dangerous situation by providing a clear and recognisable Voice Alarm message. PAVA systems are typically used in large public and high-rise buildings (over four floors) and our wide-ranging experience has grown by completing projects in major sites such as hospitals, shopping centres and large educational establishments.

Portable Fire ExtinguishersWe supply, install and maintain a suite of portable fire extinguishers via our suitably trained and BAFE accredited engineers.

Portable fire extinguishers are a basic commodity within any fire risk assessment and their provision, when correctly applied, also ensures compliance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. However, no single extinguisher is totally effective on every kind of fire, so before purchasing your portable extinguishers it is vital to gain the appropriate professional advice. Our solutions meet the exacting requirements of the BAFE SP101 scheme.

Our customers have total peace of mind that all our fire extinguishers are stamped with the CE Mark, installed to BS 5306-8: 2012 and commissioned and maintained to BS 5306-3: 2017.
