Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On Behalf of the Indonesian Heart Association (IHA), I am pleased to inform you that th ththe 25 Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Heart Association (25 ASMIHA) will
take place in Jakarta, from 14 – 17 April, 2016.
The theme of this year “Bridging the Gap in Cardiovascular Care : Providing Efficient, Streamlined and Focused Care in Cardiovascular Services”. As one of populated country with difference modality of cardiovascular services, we need to standardize our health services. And ASMIHA meeting will provide all physicians with scientific environment to reduce the gap.
The Meeting will be held in collaboration with World Heart Federation (WHF),American College of Cardiology (ACC),European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (APSC) and Asean Federation of Cardiology (AFC).
The scientific program will include courses, lectures, case presentations, Young Investigator Award, free papers, poster presentations as well as industry symposia. During the three days of scientific sessions, attendees will get the latest updates on acute cardiac practice, heart failure, cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation, hypertension, cardio-metabolic syndrome, surgery, echocardiography, electrophysiology and pacing, vascular disease, cardiovascular imaging, intervention, pediatric cardiology and interact with colleagues from around the world.
ASMIHA is designed to meet the specific educational needs of medical professional involved with the management and treatment of cardiovascular diseases as they are encountered by primary care physicians, cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, pediatricians, internists, fellows and residents of the above specialties, nurses and allied healthcare personnel.
We believe that the meeting will stimulate creative exchange of ideas and provide you with the opportunity to renew old friendship.

Joint Symposiums
New Frontier Cardiology
This year we are going to focus on comprehensive cardiovascular services in all level of health institution.
This session is designed specifically for general practitioners who work in the primary health care.
These sessions will integrate national expert in cardiology with top international experts from prestigious academic societies that study the field of cardiology from around the globe, such as World Heart Federation (WHF), American College of Cardiolgy (ACC), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Asia Pacific Society of Cardiology (APSC) and ASEAN Federation of Cardiology (AFC).
In this session we will invite cardiologist from all over Indonesia to share their inspiring experience to overcome limitation and tell their innovative story in developing cardiovascular care in their area.
All ASMIHA participants which ACLS certificate has expired from August 2015 or will expire up to May 2016 can participate at ACLS Recertification! The certificate will be valid for a year. It is a one day program on ASMIHA, all participant must give prove that they are eligible for the program.Terms and condition:1. Registration to the main symposium is a must for all participants.2. All participant have to prove that they are eligible to the program by
completing registration form at our website. Incomplete data will not be processed.
3. The committee will verify all participant that is eligible for the program.4. All verified registration need to pass an online-test at our website before
they can complete their payment. 5. ACLS Recertification is a one day program and will be held paralel to the
main symposium from 15-17 April 2016. Schedule will be announced later.6. The certificate from this program will valid for 1 year.

Moderated Poster Sessions
This competition is eligible for those below 40 years old (as January 2016) who are residences of cardiology and cardiologist with interest in cardiovascular research. Eight finalists will present their research in English. The winner will
threpresent their research at the final day of 25 ASMIHA.
Participants of this session will have a chance to present their research. It will be a good opportunity to share and learn more. It is opened for residents in cardiology, cardiologist, other medical specialist and general physicians with interest in cardiovascular field.
Selected papers will be presented in an open session and will be discussed in depth with the leading national cardiology researchers.
Participants will present their research or case presentation with visual display. The posters will be moderated by two experts in the respective field, ensuring high quality interaction feedback.
