Plan to Preserve this Pretty Planet

Questionnaire results The first step of our project was to gather

information

A survey was undertaken in order to establish what people knew about Sustainable Development

We wanted to find out how different schools and countries dealt with care of the environment.

We also wanted to find out the level of awareness in the wider communities.

What did we do ? A short questionnaire was compiled with a range of

questions which would be clearly understood by children, parents and teachers.

The Irish school piloted a multi-lingual survey which was created using free open source software.

A link to the survey was made available in the project blog and all schools were invited to participate.

A three-week timeframe was allowed for completion.

The results and analysis The Irish school analysed the completed survey

results which were firstly collated for the whole group.

Further analysis provided results for each individual school.

The results are available in graphic format on the project blog.
