FDMEE Introduction
Upgrade from FDM to FDMEE
Comparison to FDM
New Functionality of FDMEE
New Functionality of 11.1.2.4
Agenda
www.finitsolutions.com- 14 -
Introduction to FDMEE
• FDM Enterprise Edition
– Beginning with release 11.1.2.3, Oracle has combined what we know as “FDM” with what we know as “ERPi” to create “FDM, Enterprise Edition” or “FDMEE”
– The thought is that this will combine the direct sourcing and drillback to the source that ERPi provides while still providing users the core functionality (workflow, controls, audit) that they have grown to love with FDM
www.finitsolutions.com- 15 -
Introduction to FDMEE
• Oracle’s FDMEE Integration Strategy
– Pre-built Direct Connection
– File based Integration
– Excel based Integration
– Open Interface Adapter
– Source from Target Applications
• This should provide complete coverage

Upgrade to 11.1.2.4
www.finitsolutions.com- 21 -

– No Migration Utility…….yet (hopefully coming this summer)
– Can upload some data from FDM tables to FDMEE with some scrubbing
– Need to convert Scripts
