This is my mood board on the posters which I am specifically in charge of. I have discussed the three different posters that I’m intending to create. These are the Call back sheet because in the script it says that Mrs Darbus announces “Bolton, Montez you got yourself a call back.” Wildcat Basketball Team posters which is because in the script the basketball and the wildcats are a key theme within the production I know this because the wildcat theme song is sung repeated throughout the play and the science decathlon poster which I am doing because in the script the character of Taylor says “be in the science decathlon”. I have also discussed the different colour schemes of using red, gold and white because these are the team colours of the Wildcats, who the key characters of Troy Bolton is captain of and also within the script the basketball team is referred to throughout. I have also discussed the different logos that I will use like the Wildcat logo of the cat because there is a clear repetition of the wildcats theme song by the cheerleaders which highlights the school spirit so therefore my interpretation is that I would like to put the logo everywhere to evidence the schools support. I have decided I would like to make all my posters A3 size so that the audience can see them clearly.

This is one of my prototype and basic first designs of a flag I would like to make for the wall of the high school interior on the flats and also small and giant flags for the cheerleaders to wave whilst performing their songs and supporting their team. I have included the school colours of red and white and one of their key slogans of “Wildcats are No1” and also their key logo of the Wildcat. I have done all of this because in the script and the productions there is a constant repeat of the wildcat theme song and throughout the play the cheerleaders re-appear to support the team and perform.

These are my first designs and prototypes of the different posters I would like to create:

This is my first rough design for the poster for the science decathlon tournament which happens in the play. I know this because when analysing the script on page 78-79 Taylor says “How can you be in the Science Decathlon.”

My colour scheme is mainly green because I think this represent science more but also still red in there to show how they are still part of the team spirit like the rest of the set design.

I have included the Wildcat in this poster to help communicate that they are still the Wildcats Science club and the logo of test tubes to show the science team.

These are my Designs for the Wildcat Basketball Teams poster. I have included there name that i know because the first page of the script its sings there theme song. I have also included their motto of “Get your head in the game” I know this because when analysing the script within the main basket ball song the constantly repeat this motto.

I have included red because after researching the play and looking at different picture i have found out that that is the school colour with the logo of the wildcats which I have also included.

This is my design for the Call Back audition sheet for the Musical of Juliet and Romeo which is a play within this production. I know this because in the script on page 35 it say Mrs Darbus who is the Drama teacher ask if there are “and last minutes signups for Juliet or Romeo” and then later on she says “you got yourself a call-back” so there needs to be a poster that can go up after this is said. I have made it blue so it is very different to the other two posters so it stands out and also put the name of the play and the characters who got picked for the call-back on there so it clearly states what the poster is all about.
