Cemetery In town

Outskirts

cemetery

In the end we decided to use the outskirts cemetery as the landscape

around it suited the type of scene we wanted. The trees without leaves on

the headstones give it a more sentimental feel about the scene to. The

headstones are also more recent so if we wanted to put details of the

headstone in the scene we could do that whereas in the town, the

headstones were a bit dated and hard to read.

For the cemetery scene we had a selection of two different locations in

order to film this scene. We had the cemetery in the town or the one on

the outskirts of town.

Town Scene

For the town scene we required a street that had a corner, this would allow us

to have two different characters walking along same pavement without

knowing they were going to meet around the corner. The street also needed a

yellow line so that we could do a POV in the street of that line in order to relate

to the lyrics being sung.

We decided to use this location as the street is good to be able to shoot the

POV as it has the long yellow line which allows us to relate to the lyrics. The

street is also enclosed which can be used to resemble the mind of the male

character in question as his life becomes shrouded by images of the female

character.

Bedroom Scene

For the bedroom scene we required a room which was large enough to film

in and also has a overhead window which is required in our film to relate to

some of the lyrics within.
