AN EVENING APART— FINDING OUR BREATH IN TODAY’S WORLD: GOODNESS TO GO “In a climate of raw division and mass confusion, people of faith are returning to our sources to breathe afresh the wind of the Spirit. This is not only for ourselves, but also that we can be instruments of the Beloved Community in this time by word and deed.” Our title “Goodness to go,” is what Bishop Prince Singh of the Rochester Episcopal Diocese presented in his acceptance talk upon receiving GRCC’s Faith in Action Award in 2017. Inspired by his words, we invited him to help us in a time of personal and community reflection on Wednesday, November 7, beginning at 6:00pm with finger foods and concluding by 9:00pm. The evening will help us gather ourselves, create bonds of support and connect us with our power to act. Thank you to the Sisters of St. Joseph who will open the Motherhouse to us. We will open ourselves to receive God’s grace afresh. This evening is for all who seek to find our breath and take goodness to go.
