Financial Manager Anita’s Yogurt is a 3 year-old food startup based in Brooklyn, NY. We make coconut milk based yogurt that is vegan and probiotic and popular among local chefs because it is also versatile and delicious. We are rapidly growing and need a Financial Manager to understand how the business functions as a whole and can use their understanding to fortify growth of the business.

We are a startup. You must be adaptable and able to wear multiple hats. This is a tremendous long-term opportunity to help build out a company in a hyper-growth environment.

Requirements • Bookkeeping and accounting experience a must. • Previous startup experience preferred. • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. • Able to take Quickbooks data to generate and present useful reports including

balance sheet, profit & loss, sales, and projections in a way that will to grow the business.

• Analytical software experience a plus. • Interest and love for food and/or wellness a plus. • We seek an efficient self-manager who can get lots done independently. • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. • Extremely detail oriented in your work.

Principal Responsibilities • Manage all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R. Generate payments and

credits. • Budgeting: track cost of goods and expenses to calculate profit margin. Create

quarterly budget for each department accordingly.

• Drive financial forecast and present data monthly. Use analytics such as Microstrategy.

• Collections. Filing. • Provide general finance oversight including financial analyses for capital

investments, product development, strategic decision-making, and contract negotiations.

• Overlap with HR on compliance (i.e. insurance), compensation, and recruitment.
