The Art Béton Primer is an acrylic latex to be used on all surfaces prior to the Art Béton Coating. It is designed to obtain greater bonding strength on existing surfaces before using the Art Béton Coating.

INSTRUCTIONS Support must meet the TTMAC and TCA standards. All surfaces must be dry, structurally sound and free of any contaminant that could affect the bonding (such as wax or sealant), in compliance with the industry standards. Cover all joints with fi breglass jointing tape.

APPLICATION : (Step 1) Shake well before using. Use fi breglass tape on joints to stabilize surfaces. Apply uniformly a thin layer of the primer using a brush or a foam roller. The primer should take about 45 minutes to dry. Apply a second coat if surfaces are really porous and dry quickly. The primer will form a clear fi lm when dried. Use a fan to accelerate curing time.

The Art Beton Coating can be applied. (Step 2)

Clean tools with water while the Primer is still fresh.

The Art Béton Coating is a real concrete coating that bonds to most surface. It is designed to be applied in two thin layers of 1mm each. Pay particular attention to the edges, apply additional thickness in order to avoid passing through the concrete during sanding.

SURFACE PREPARATION (Step 1)

Cover all joints with fi breglass tape. Apply the Art Béton Primer on all the surface to be covered. Let it dry until a clear fi lm is formed before applying the concrete coating.

PREPARING THE CONCRETE COATING (Step 2)

Wear gloves and mask. Pour the 3 kg of concrete coating into the appropriate bucket, 7 or more litres. Add 1700 ml of water. Mechanically mix until a homogeneous paste is formed. Scrape sides while mixing. Ensure a homogeneous and complete mixing.

APPLYING THE CONCRETE COATING

Apply a 1 mm thin layer using a concrete trowel or fl oat. Make half circle movements in every direction using the trowel. Any gaps will be fi lled during the second coat. Soften rough edges using a spatula. Let it dry until colour fades (about 2 hours, use a fan to accelerate curing time). Apply a second coat making half-circle movements with the trowel, create textures if desired. A third coat may be applied if necessary.

FINISH

Wait until the following day for optimal drying, proceed to sand the surface using 120-grit sandpaper for the edges and a 180-grit for the rest. Use a 320-grit sandpaper for a smooth fi nish. Seal concrete following instructions on steps 3 and 4. Clean tools with water while concrete is still fresh.

The Art Béton water-based sealer is designed to be applied on the Art Béton Coating. It is the fi rst step of concrete sealing, prior to varnish and urethane. For indoor use only.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Wait until the day after the application of the Art Béton Coating. After sanding the Art Béton Coating, clean the surface using a vacuum to get rid of any dust and particles.

APPLICATION (Step 3)

Apply sealer using a foam roller, use a paint brush for corners and edges. Apply a uniform layer, avoid bubbles. Do not leave streaks or excess sealer.

The sealer must be completely dry before applying varnish (Step 4). It should take 1 to 3 hours to dry.

Use a fan to accelerate curing time.

Clean tools with neutral pH soap (7 to 9) while the sealer is sill fresh

IMPORTANT - The concrete will gradually absorb the sealer but not uniformly.

The superior quality Art Béton water-based impregnator sealer penetrates the surface and fi lls the pores. It acts as a natural protector against water and oil. It produces a mild odour.

APPLICATION: Can be used indoors and outdoors on all surfaces for a deep optimal sealing. It is the fi rst step of concrete sealing prior to varnish or urethane.

PREPARATION : Wait until the day after the application of the Art Béton Coating to make sure the surface is dry. Proceed to sand the surface using 150 grit sandpaper to soften rough edges and 180 grit for the rest. Use a 320-grit sandpaper for a smooth fi nish. Free the surface of any dust or particles using a vacuum.

APPLICATION : Apply the impregnator sealer using a foam paint roller. Apply a uniform layer, avoid streaks or bubbles. Do not leave excess sealer. Use a fan to accelerate curing time. Let it dry for 8 hours minimum before applying varnish or urethane.

IMPORTANT: The impregnating sealer must be completely dry before applying VARNISH or Urethane (Step 4). 8 hour drying. Follow the directions provided by Art Béton for the rest of the procedures.

WASHING: Use a neutral soap with a pH of 7 to 9.

The Art Béton water-based varnish is designed to be applied on the Art Béton Coating. It enhances colours, maintains the surface’s natural look and protects from water and oil. Ideal for concrete fl oors, walls, counters, and furniture. The varnish must be applied on the Sealer or the Impregnator Sealer.

Surfaces must have been covered by the Sealer or the Impregnator Sealer (Step 3) and be totally dry. Free the surfaces of any dust using a vacuum or a damp cloth.

APPLICATION (Step 4) Apply the Varnish using a foam roller, use a paint brush for corners and edges. Apply a uniform layer, avoid streaks or bubbles. Let it dry completely (1 to 3 hours). Use a fan to accelerate curing time. Sand lightly between layers using a 150-grit sandpaper, then use a 320-grit sandpaper for a smooth fi nish. Clean the surface to get rid of any particles using a damp cloth or a vacuum. Apply the second layer uniformly.

For the fl oors, avoid walking on them for the fi rst 24 hours.

Completely dry after 7 to 30 days.

CLEAN TOOLS with water or neutral soap while the product is still fresh.

SURFACE CLEANING: For the fi rst week, use only dry microfi ber mop or cloth. After, use a damp microfi ber mop or cloth or with a neutral soap.

STORAGE: The product is fl ammable and must be stored in a dry place with controlled temperature. The product will keep for about a year if it has not been opened.

INGREDIENTS: Water, polymer resin, propylene glycol ethers, silica derivative and surfactants.

The Art Béton Urethane Satin is a two-component, waterborne, low odour, VOC compliant top coat. This high performance product has excellent clarity applied as a non-yellowing finish which eliminates reflective gloss on general service or decorative floor and wall systems.

Meets the requirements of CFIA and USDA for use in food plants. Abrasion Resistance ASTM D4060.

Where to Use: Hospitals and healthcare facilities, schools, colleges and universities, grocery and department stores, commercial and industrial environments, restaurants, food plants, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION : The Art Béton Coating must be covered by the Impregnator Sealer that has completely dried. Surfaces must be clean and free of any contaminant that could affect the bound.

URETHANE PREPARATION RATIO – CAUTION PREPARE ONLY NECESSARY QUANTITY.

Use a small container. Add Component B to Component A according to the ratio on the label.

Mix well until complete homogeneity.

** For optimal adhesion, apply in less than 30 minutes after mixing parts A and B, even if the texture is still liquid. **

APPLICATION Apply the Urethane Satin using a small foam roller, use a paint brush for corners and edges. Apply a uniform layer, avoid bubbles. Let it dry completely (3 to 24 hours). Use a fan to accelerate curing time. Sand lightly between layers using a 150-grit sandpaper, then use a 320-grit sandpaper for a smooth finish. Clean the surface to get rid of any particles using a damp cloth or a vacuum. Apply the second layer uniformly. For the floors, avoid circulation for the first 24 hours. Completely dry 7 to 30 days.

HARDENING Hardens in maximum 1h following the mixing of the two components in a container.

CLEANING Clean tools and equipment immediately with water. Wash soiled hands and skin thoroughly in hot soapy water.

MAINTENANCE OF SURFACES: For the first week, use only a dry microfiber cloth or mop. Then a cloth or mop in damp microfiber or with neutral soap.

The Art Béton leveling agent allows uneven surfaces, such as ceramic, to be leveled before the application of Concrete Plaster.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Ensure the stability of each tile or the surface to be covered. Clean with TSP if necessary, let dry. Apply roller primer in one coat. Use a paintbrush to cover the corners. Allow to dry until a translucent fi lm is obtained before applying the Leveler. Speed up drying with a fan.

PREPARING THE CONCRETE LEVEL

Put the leveler in a suitable boiler, about 7 liters. Add the water (1700 ml) and mix using a mixer to obtain a homogeneous paste.

APPLICATION OF CONCRETE LEVELER

Apply a layer of trowel or fl oat to fi ll the ceramic joints. When the fi rst coat is partially dried (1h30 to 2h), apply a second coat to level the surface well. Allow to completely dry, 12 to 24 hours, before proceeding to Step 1 of the application of Art Concrete products. Speed up drying with a fan.

FINISH

After drying 12h to 24h, lightly sand the leveler with 80 grit sandpaper. You must apply Art Concrete Primer on leveled surfaces for maximum adhesion of Art Concrete Coating. Follow the indications in Steps 1 to 4 provided by Art Béton for the rest of the procedures.

CLEANING: Clean the instruments with neutral soap or water while the leveler is still fresh.

Authorized for composite sealing in heavily wet areas from load class A according to control principles for the issue of a certifi cate in fi elds under supervision for work with liquid sealing products.

For waterproofi ng walls and fl oors to protect against water damage in bathrooms and shower areas. Easy to use, malleable consistency, no drip, no splash.

Sealing walls and floors under stresses such as those encountered in baths, shower corners above baths and shower trays. Easy to use, has a malleable and pasty consistency, does not drip and does not splash. When dry, it is water repellent and very flexible.

SUPPORT PREPARATION Support must be dry, fi rm, capable of bearing loads and free from

dust.

APPLICATION Can be applied with a trowel, paintbrush, brush or short nap roller. Apply a liberal amount in the corners and joints and then paste the sealing tape on the still fresh layer. Always apply two generous layers, for a total thickness of at least 0.5 mm for both dried layers. The Sealing tapes are completely coated and embedded in the sealing layer. At normal temperature, the second layer can be applied about 2 hours after the fi rst, when the liquid membrane can be touched without damage. Use a fan to accelerate curing time.

Further application of Art Béton products can be done after the second sealing coat is dry, at least 12 hours after application. Always follow the application and processing instructions in the different technical data sheets for the Art Béton products. The Primer must be applied on the liquid membrane.

After curing, the product is physiologically and ecologically neutral.

SEALING COATING (Pre-Step 1)
