Abstract
The purpose of the current study was to examine whether the inclusion of suitable outdoorrecreational activities and/or games and the environmental interaction have an effect on studentsenvironmental responsible behavior. An interventional kinetic program, which is designed within theframeworkofeightcoursesofPhysicalEducation,hasbeenimplementedinanearbyyardparkschoolandintheParnithaNationalParkforafourweeksperiod.Thesamplecomprisedatotalof92studentsintotal,from the fifth and sixth grade, divided in the experimental group (46 students participated in outdooractivities) and the control group (46 students attended the usual physical education program). For theevaluation, thestudentsfilledout, beforeandaftertheaction, thequestionnaireofEnvironmentalbeliefsby Zafeiroudi and Chatzigeorgiadis (2013) with respect to the Cognitive and Emotional scale whosecredibility and validity has been tested successfully. Based on the results, a significant differenceimprovement is foundon theexperimentalgroupsbeliefsboth for thecognitiveand theaffectivescale. The findings can be used by schools for amore effective implementation of innovative actionswhichincludeoutdoorprogramsmotor activities that are adapted to the age, theexperiences and feelingsofchildren, inordertohandlestudentsabstinencefromtheGreeknatureaswellastheirphysicalactivationandsimultaneousawarenesstowardsenvironmentalissues.

The2ndActivityoftheProjectconcernedtheJointStaffTrainingEvent.
First,thetrainerswereinformedbymedicalexpertsoncurrentmethodsofclinicaltreatmentfor
neck pain and key points for designing therapeutic protocols. Then, the trainers presented and
discussedwith physicians and physical therapists the contents of health promotion programswith
emphasis on those addressing neck pain symptoms. Finally, specific learningmodules according to
exerciseexpertsknowledgeand topics foreachmoduleweredefinedbyallpartners.Themodules
were jointlydevelopedbetweenacademics (DUTH,HBV,EDEX)andmedicalexperts (GER) aswellas
being a joint development relationship between countries. Each partner organization had a co

GoalsandadvantagesofTHEWSexerciseprotocol
THEWSexerciseprotocolcanhelpofficeworkerseitherpreventorcopewiththesymptomsof
chronic neck pain. This exercise protocol is designed to help the officeworker correct their head
positioning and gradually attain appropriate head repositioning (neutral position). This can be
achieved through strengthening and stretching of the corresponding muscles and enhancing the
proprioceptionabilityoftheneckmuscles.
Theadvantagesofthesuggestedprotocolarethefollowing:
Officeworkerscanmakeuseofthisprotocolwhilesittingorstandingwithoutdrawingattention

Office clothes are perfectly suitable for this protocol. (e.g. a tie, a skirt or a suit should not

Abstract
Thepurposeofthisstudywasto investigatetheeffectsofatherapeuticexerciseprogramtoofficeemployeeswith chronicneckpain. Twentywomen andmenwith chronicneckpainparticipated in thisstudy. The sample consisted of two groups, an exercise group (n=10) and a control group (n=10). Theexercisegrouptookpartinatherapeuticexerciseprogramforonemonth(12sessions)3timesperweekofthirtyminutespersession.Thecontrolgroupdidnotparticipateinanytherapeuticprocedureforneckpain.Threemeasurementstookplaceinbothgroups.Thefirstwasbeforetheinterventionprogram,thesecondat the end and the third twoweeks after the completion of the intervention program. The painwasassessedbyvisualanaloguescale(VAS)andthequalityoflifebyNeckDisabilityIndex(NDI)questionnaire.Theenduranceofneck flexorsandneckextensorsmusclesweremeasuredbystopwatch.Theanalysisofdata showed statistically significant improvement in pain, in functional ability and in neck flexors andextensors muscles endurance. With this study an attempt has been made to develop an effectivetherapeutic exercise program for office employeeswith chronic neck pain that can be implemented atwork.

Abstract
Epidemiological studies show thatmost injuriesoccur towards theendof thegameor training inmany sports.Theprobablecause ismuscle fatigueand its impact inproprioception.Thepurposeof thisstudy isto investigatetheeffectofmusclefatigue inthe jointpositionsenseoftheknee joint.Secondaryaimistoquantifythedeviationinrepositioningerrorofthekneejointbeforeandafterextensorandflexormuscle fatigue, inhealthyvolunteers. Jointpositionsensewasmeasuredbycalculating the repositioningerror in the sagittal plane, before and after fatigue of extensor and flexor muscles, using isokinetic,concentricexerciseat750/sec.Thejointwaspositionedin600attheHumacNormisokineticdynamometerandthenrandomlymovedtotheanglesof450,300,150.Thejointwasmaintainedineachnewpositionforthreeseconds.Everytimethekneewasplacedatthe600thevolunteerhadtoactivelymoveitbacktothereferenceangle.Repositionwasrepeatedthreetimesforeachofthetestedangles.Repositioningerrorwasdefinedas thedifference indegreesbetween theactualpositionof the legand the targetposition.Theresults showeda reductionof torqueof theextensormuscles that rangedbetween13 (5,2%)and14%(6,7%)forthedominantandnondominant legrespectively.Thereductionoftorqueofthekneeflexorsranged between 33 (8,4%) and 36% (9,6%) to the dominant and nondominant leg respectively.
