''Final Report on 16 Days of Activism'' Ashty Centre: On 25 th Nov, 2015 was the opening ceremony of 16 days of activism a formal lecture have been conducted on the rules of defending violence against women with coordination of DVAW. More than 30 women & girls have participated in the ceremony. On 30 th Nov, 2015 a joint activity with Bhramand center was opening an exhibition of handmade material & gallery of some pictures that expressed the story of 16 days of activism as well as violence against women. At the same date an awareness lecture on the rights of women have been arranged with coordination of DVAW for more than 40 IDP women & girls. As a part of center's usual activity throughout this 16 days period awareness lecture as well as outreach activity have been arranged on GBV, its types, outcomes of violence and its solutions and many brochures on social and health awareness have been distributed.

Ashty Centre:

On 25th Nov, 2015 was the opening ceremony of 16 days of

activism a formal lecture have been conducted on the rules of

defending violence against women with coordination of DVAW.

More than 30 women & girls have participated in the ceremony.

On 30th Nov, 2015 a joint activity with Bhramand center was

pictures that expressed the story of 16 days of activism as well as

violence against women. At the same date an awareness lecture

on the rights of women have been arranged with coordination of

Baherka Centre:

On 25th Nov, 2015 started the ceremony with an exhibition of handmade

materials and a gallery of pictures that expressed violence against

women. At the same date lectures on the general goals and aims of 16

days of activism have been conducted by Fatima case manager, Amina

AL_Masalla lawyer as well as Mr. Amir from DVAW for more than person

among them a staff from camp management & other organizations

operating in Baherka camp.

On 26th Nov, 2015 Baherka center have participated in a charity Bazar in

UN compound where some handmade materials of Al_Masalla centers

were exhibited and sold.

On 29th Nov, 2015 one day training on GBV core concepts was arranged

for all the organization operating in Baherka camp. 25 person from the

following organization have participated in the training (UNHCR, UNDP

Intersos, Save children, upp, ERC, Qndil and Relif).

On 30th Nov, 2015 some awareness videos on sexual harassment was

shown & an awareness lecture have been conducted by Emtinan

Sharzad Project manager for more than 35 people. On 1st & 8th Dec, 2015

outreach visits to homes and tents as well as distributing brochures have

been conducted. On 2nd Dec, 2015 an awareness and social lecture have

been arranged 20 girls aged between (12to17) & distributing brochures.

On 6th Dec, 2015 an awareness lecture was conducted on GBV and its

types. 31 women & girl and participated in the session. On 7th Dec, 2015

a short theater performance was arranged by some of camp residents. It

dealt with the problems of young girls in the society. More than 40

people have participated in this activity. On 10th Dec, 2015 awareness

session on early marriage and distributing gifts among 24 participants.

Bahramand Centre:

The Activities that were arranged during the 16 days of activism

were (presenting social, medical and legal seminars) besides

some theater performance and opining an exhibition of

handmade materials and a gallery of some pictures related to

violence and gender issues.

In the beginning of each activity awareness lecture on violence

its types of and the aim of these 16 days were clarified.

Total number of participant (570) male and female

*presenting seminar by (s.w) in the title of (gender discrimination based

on social, tradition believes)

Number of participant according their age( 80 students)(14-16)in

gashbeen intermediate girls school the students had very good reaction

and most of them participated by asking questions and suggestions and

teachers suggested us to continue this program so this encourage as to

do our best

* a joint activity with Ashty center was opening an exhibition of

handmade material & gallery of some pictures that expressed the story

of 16 days of activism as well as violence against women. With

coordination of DVAW (naqib flamina ) presented a seminar about

(domestic violence law in kurdistan )and Rozh lawyer from Al_Masalla

gave a lecture on human trafficking. More than 40 women have

participated in this activeity.

*with coordination of DVAW and Dr.Entisar (specialized in women

diseases) presented a seminar sexually transmitted diseases. Another

seminar presented by Dr. Rezan (specialized in psychology) about

(suicide) its causes.

Both of seminars had been presented in both of (halala and chnar) girls’

high school (180) students participated in the seminar.

*nakib Flamina presented seminar in (Ahmad khane) boys high school

about (domestic violence law in Kurdistan)and (misusing communication

tools )the aim of it was raising youths legal awareness as it is so

important

* play show which dealt with the disadvantage of early marriage

(socially, psychologically, medically and its affection on studying) (87)

student participated in (gazing) girls high school

*seminar in (gazing) girls high school by S.W about disadvantage of early

marriage (60) students attended the lecture.

*(shno) lawyer from Al_Masalla presented a seminar about domestic

violence law and how to reach those cases.

Number of participant were (60) female in Gezang girls high school.

Kasnazan Centre:

On 25th Nov, 2015 opening ceremony with a social and legal lecture on

violence and the aim of 16 days of activism. More than 40 people from

different organization have participated in the lecture. On 29th Nov,

2015 an awareness session about the common problems that young girls

suffer from have been arranged in a girl's high school.

On 2nd Dec, 2015 with coordination of DVAW a formal lecture on the

legal rights of girls to education have been conducted. On 7th Dec, 2015

with coordination of ministry of health a session on early marriage and

its effects on young girls have been conducted. On 10th Dec, 2015 a

session on the problems young people face through their life and how to

overcome it.

Total number of participants was 150

Khabat Centre:

Through the 16 days of activism period many activities have been

conducted (seminars, opening an exhibition, distributing 400 brochures,

a seminar in Dwarozh School). With coordination of IRD org. distributed

gifts among 125 female residents of Khabat. All the seminars were

conducted with the cooperation of DVAW, Qandil, UPP, and IRD).

Zaytun Centre:

On 25th Nov, 2015 awareness session on early marriage with

coordination of UPP. Number of participants 90 women and girl.

On 26th Nov, 2015 session on early marriage. Number of participants 35.

On 29th Nov, to 8th Dec, 2015 outreach visits to homes.

On 9th Dec, 2015 video showing on sexual harassment and violence.

Number of participants 40 person.

On 25th Nov, 2015 lecture on violence and its types with coordination of

DVAW. Number of participants 25 women and girls.

A seminar on early marriage and how it affects health. Number of

A formal lecture in Shaqlawa Technical Institute on GBV its causes and

outcomes. Number of participants 70 women and girl.

Outreach visits to homes to give awareness on GBV

Lecture on the role of women in the family by Mr. Kazm specialized in

Lecture with coordination of Intersos org. on being optimistic in life.

Lecture on early marriage with coordination of UNHCR and Intersos.

Ozel Centre:

Awareness lecture on violence and its social affects with coordination of

DVAW. Number of participants 50 women and girls.

Outreach visits to homes to give awareness on gender issues and

Awareness session on the role of parents in raising children. Number of

participants 20 women.

Lecture with coordination of Warvin org. in Ozel church on the rights on

women in the society and peace coo existence. Number of participants

30 women and girls.

Opening a small exhibition of handmade materials. Number of

participants 35 women and girls.

Awareness lecture on a girl's school on early marriage and its effects on

young people. Number of participants 90.
