Inspirational mood board for the first part of research for my A2 project focusing on creating a catwalk piece for women in their early 20’s from the inspiration of Origami

Continuing with the A2 project with Origami, prototyping became very important in refining ideas further. From one simple Origami shape I began to join individual pieces together and play around with the versatility of the shape. Then started to draw on top of the photos produced to see potential final ideas arising from the prototyping

Various life drawings created through my Art AS level, these are all unrefined drawings yet focusing on tone these have captured human form. Figure in Space was the brief for Art AS coursework, the image to the right captures the work behind my final idea.

From Art AS. Focusing on the brief of Similarities and Differences, where I chose to focus on collections of magazines that individuals have. I wanted to bring in my textiles aspect into this project and decided to select Vogue magazine as my inspiration where I then went on to recreate the cover of the magazine, one from the 60’s and one from the 80’s. Including architecture and iconic fashion for the era’s. Also using mixed media to print over my photography.

These photo’s are just a few of the creations from the Sorapol SS14 Campaign, set in Hilles House the home of the late Isabella blow. On this shoot I helped to create the sets for the photo’s and be a general assistant to Perou. Photographer Perou, Creative Director Daniel Lismore, Creative Consultant David Motta.
