• Short films about bullying typically highlight the effects that bullying has on the victim often showing the way they find escape – which is usually suicide.

• Short films about bullying also carry a message of don’t bully, even though this is a convention I don’t think we will include a text piece in the film as it is obvious.

• Bullying films usually always end negatively, this is a convention that I am going to challenge what making my film.

As our final film idea we have decided that we will create a film about a boy who gets bullied.

We have decided to have use a getting ready scene to show what could happen on his first day at his new school.

To make the character more relatable we have decided that it would be a good idea to have a voice over of his thoughts.

Our film also portrays the idea of what a difference appearance can make to whether you are bullied or not.

However after watching many different short films with the theme of bullying as there centre focus we believe that it would be more appealing and surprising if ours ended differently.
