Teamwork

I need 7 or 8 people on each team. Think about which project and which design needs appeals to you.

You will be working together to fulfill your client’s needs.

Possible sub-committees for IgnitePeoria might be researcher of event, interviewers, writers, photographer, overall design & layout of magazine, design of printable tabletops, etc. What else could be needed?

Time FrameYou have two weeks to complete &

present your personal task for the committee you are on.◦You don’t want to let your committee down or

more importantly your client.◦(Remember in the real world you will be paid

for this)◦Right now you will still get your design used

and shown in the “real world.”

Step 1: Assign your self to one of the two groups.Meet with your committee and together

research your company, look on their website, and familiarize yourself with them & their need.

Think about your audience…who are you catering to? Who are you designing for? Who will see your design?

Write all these notes down.

Step 2: Begin to brainstorm as a group the different sub-

committees you need to have to get the work done. ◦ Assign different members of group to different tasks.◦ Begin to come up with ideas

for your task. i.e.: what will the look of the

magazine or PDC branding be? What do typical letterhead/business

cards look like? How can yours stand out? What artists will you contact

to interview? Who will take the photograph?

Step 3: Present these ideas to Eileen & DougTo PDC laboratories

Begin designing Begin setting up appt. with those that

need interviewed.

Step 4:
