It was co ld , r a iny and miserab le in Rio when I changed p lanes . I could no t see Tom's plane when wolanded a t Bulawayo, but as we t ax ied , I saw it In the hanger . He was comi

They were so good i n t ak ingi n j e c t i on s . V ery few f u s sed a t all.Two Sundays ago , Fran and I were about to l eave f o r th e a f t e rnoon

churches , when I go t word t h a t Rhoda needed me. She had a 5 yea r o ld boyin convuls ions . I took emergency measures f i r s t of airway, oxygen and seda t i o n , s t a r t i ng a IV o f ch lo roqu ine . The boy had c e r eb r a l ma l a r i a . It wano t 50 minu t e s u n t i l he was r e s t i ng qu i e t l y . The nex t morning he was upea t ing a cookie and dr ink ing orange pop . WMle th e doc to r was here on h isrout in# v i s i t , we l os t an 11 year old boy from cerebral malaria (usual lyf a t a l ) . While th e boy was dying I was del iver ing a baby. I had hoped itwould be a boy , bu t it was a girl. God g ive s and He t a ke s away.
