The audit call was held in accordance with the NRC audit plan (ADAMS Accession No. ML16152A125). As a result of the audit call, the NRC requested on August 30, 2016 that information be submitted on the docket by October 28, 2016. The information request is repeated below along with a response to the request. Requested Information for MNGP Please provide revised figure(s) to include all critical door opening locations, river reaches, and cross section associated with each of the critical door locations using appropriate annotations and legends. Northern States Power – Minnesota (NSPM) Response : Eleven figures are attached to this email, which include all critical door opening locations, river reaches, and cross sections. In addition, as discussed in the August 18, 2016 audit call, NSPM identified that calculation 180999.51.1005, Tables 3.0-1 & 5.4-5 contained incorrect information. The tables indicate that Door 1 has a water surface outside the door that is 2.09 ft above the door sill. The calculation had actually determined that the water surface outside Door 1 was only 0.5 ft above the door sill. This reported result is conservative and therefore the calculation is not being changed. Note that on the enclosed figure for Door 1, NSPM has included both the original and corrected water surface values. Finally, as discussed in the August 18, 2016 audit call and in a call with A. Minarik on July 7, 2016, the door listed on the figure as Door 341 is actually an unnumbered door in the Plant Administration Building stairway that is adjacent to Door 341. This does not affect any conclusions of the FHRR or LIP analyses. We simply wanted to bring it to your attention. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you, John S.
