Field TripPreparation Guide

This guide is designed to help you enjoy your day at SEA LIFE and make the most of your field trip.

Bus Drop Off and Parking

Mall of America requires all busses and shuttles to drop off at the North Entrance of MOA. Busses can park for free at the North Entrance next to Ikea.

Storage & Lunch Options

SEA LIFE can store your coats and lunches. SEA LIFE does not have eating facilities onsite. If your group plans on eating while visiting Mall of America, you may go to either the North or South Food Court both located on the 3rd floor.

Pre-Sorting into Small Groups

We may require you to split into smaller groups for your educational program. See your confirmation email with your schedule outlining the groups needed. Please have these groups sorted in advance.

Final Payment

Please note that payment is due in full at least two weeks prior to your visit date. Changes can be made to your reservation up until the payment due date. We accept company checks, Visa or MasterCard. Please make checks payable to SEA LIFE Minnesota and note the order number on the memo line.

Arrival & Check-In

The leader will check-in at Mall Level 1 Box Office before going downstairs to enter the aquarium. Students can line up be-tween the escalators to wait during this time. A SEA LIFE staff member will assist the group with starting their adventure after the group is checked in.

Our programs run on a set schedule. Early or late arrivals will be accommodated to the best of our ability; however, wemay be required to adjust or cut components of your program to remain on schedule. If you are running late, please callus at 612-207-6118.

Group GuidelinesSEA LIFE thanks your students in advance for staying with their chaperones at all times, for respecting the sea creatures and other guests by walking, and for always using their indoor voices.

Souvenirs & MementosSEA LIFE’s gift shop is stocked with educational, eco-friendly and learning gifts! We carry animal toy & plush, Octonauts, recycled/repurposed toys & gifts, and more. All pre-booked Field Trips receive 30% off entire store on day of visit!

RestroomsSEA LIFE has two restrooms – one restroom is located on the Lower Level near the Pacific Northwest Rockpool. The second restroom is located at the end of the attraction after you exit through the Gift Shop.

StaffOur friendly and knowledgeable staff areavailable throughout the aquarium should you have any questions or need assistance.

SafetySafety is held at the highest standard at SEA LIFE. Children under the age of 13 must be with an adult at all times. We highly recommend at least one adult for every five children.
