GOLF1. Men must wear slacks or Bermuda-length shorts;

no cargo shorts are allowed. Women must wear slacks, capris, skorts or dresses.

2. For Men, shirts with sleeves and collars are required. For mock-collared shirts, the collar must be a minimum of 1.5”. Shirts must always be tucked into pants or shorts .

3. For women, shirts with sleeves and collars are preferred. However, women may wear a round-neck, collarless shirt with sleeves or a shirt with a collar and no sleeves. Unfinished shirts must be tucked in, but shirts with finished bottoms that are designed to be left untucked may be worn out. No women’s clothing is allowed in which midriff is visible.

4. Only spike-less shoes are permitted on the courses and practice facilities. Spike-less shoes include soft spikes, golf shoes with rubber treads and sneakers.

5. Only when designated by FECC staff are jeans, pool attire, athletic wear or sweatpants permitted. The following items are not allowed on the golf course or in the clubhouse at anytime: cargo shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, mesh shirts, athletic and undergarment-type attire, strapless/halter/tube tops, camouflage, shoes with metal spikes, high top sneakers or water footwear.

6. Caps must always be worn with the bill forward. Hats and visors must be removed in the Clubhouse.

7. Golfers are not permitted to change shoes in the parking lot. The locker rooms (including day lockers) are available for all Members and guests.

! All Members are responsible for ensuring that their guest’s attire

conforms to the standards outlined above. FECC Staff will advise

Members and their guests if their attire is not considered to be in

compliance with Dress Code. Please note that all Golf Shop merchandise

conforms to dress code. !

The purpose of our Dress Code is to provide Members, Juniors and guests with a guide to appropriate dress when using the racquets

facilities at Fiddler’s Elbow.

RACQUETS

Men Shirts must be worn on and around the racquets courts. T-shirts, polo shirts and other shirts with sleeves (long or short) are acceptable. Sleeveless tennis shirts with hemmed armholes, tank tops or muscle shirts are not appropriate. Shoes should be designed for tennis. Running shorts, cutoffs and bathing suit attire are not appropriate. Warm-up,

training and sweat suits are acceptable. Regulation tennis shoes are required.

Women Tennis dresses and separates (tops and skirts or shorts) appropriate for tennis are acceptable. Tops can include t-shirts, v-necks, tank tops and sleeved or sleeveless

blouses. Sports bras, bikini tops etc. are not allowed as outerwear. Running shorts, cutoffs and bloomer-type shorts are not acceptable. Warm-up, training and sweat suits

are acceptable. Regulation tennis shoes are required.

• Golf attire is always permitted in the Clubhouse and Elbow Room Bar area (Please refer to “Golf Dress Code” in the Golf Section.)

• Pool Attire, cargo pants and/or shorts with external pockets, t-shirts and flip slop sandals are not permitted. The Fiddler’s Elbow dress code varies by location and, in the case of the Elbow Room, by season.

• Proper bathing, tennis, golf and exercise attire is permitted in the dining areas of the pool and at the Splash Bar. Pristine denim of one color, without flaws, holes or added designs, such as rhinestones or studs, are permitted. Headwear is permitted in all pool areas. Modest bathing attire must be worn at all times. Non-traditional bathing suits are NOT permitted.

• In all venues of the club, children are expected to adhere to the same Dress Code as adults.

Throughout the year, proper golf and tennis attire is permissible for dining in the Grill Room and on the patio. Shirts must be tucked in unless designed to be untucked. Pristine denim of one color, without flaws, holes or added designs, such as rhinestones or studs are

permitted. T-shirts, tank-tops, yoga, pool and exercise attire are NEVER permitted. Headwear is never permitted inside the Grill Room but is permitted on the patio.

For men, collared shirts and long slacks are always required. After 5pm, jackets are preferred in the Elbow Room and the Elbow Bar. Jackets are never required for lunch or

afternoon use of the Elbow Room. T-shirts, denim, untucked shirts, tank tops workout/tennis clothing and headwear are NEVER permitted.

For women, appropriate clothing is required for the Elbow Room and the Elbow Room Bar. This includes dresses, sundresses, slacks and blouses. Golf appropriate clothing is

permitted during the summer months. T-shirts, denim, yoga pants, tank tops and workout/tennis attire are NEVER permitted.
