UPCOMING PHOTO OF THE WEEK:

Novel Coronavirus 19 Message:

As members of the FHJC community are well aware, Covid-19, formerly known as the novel coronavirus,

is slowly spreading beyond the borders of China. Baruch HaShem, so far, only a small number of con-

firmed cases have occurred within the entire country of Canada. At this time, the Shul is monitoring the

situation carefully, and will continue to operate all programs as scheduled. In the event that the spread

of the virus grows within the GTA, the Shul will update the membership as it relates to regular Shul pro-

gramming.

At this time, we kindly ask that any member who has recently travelled, for business or pleasure, to a

heavily infected area, such as China, South Korea, Italy, Germany or Japan, to refrain from attending

Shabbat services, or other Shul programming for 2 weeks after they have returned. In the event you

need to attend services, we recommend you consult with your family physician before attending ser-

vices at the Shul.

The FHJC asks people to observe the following protocols:

Individuals feeling ill or experiencing symptoms of the cold or flu should stay home and, if necessary,

seek medical attention.

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, rubbing hands together with soap, lather for at

least 20 seconds before rinsing.

Please use of alcohol sanitizer if soap is not available. Make certain that all surfaces of your hands

are covered.

Please avoid hand-shaking, hugging, and kissing.

Kissing of the Torah, Mezuzahs and Siddurim are activities that are being discouraged.

Cover your cough or sneeze, preferably with a tissue that is immediately disposed of, or minimally,

into your sleeve.

Please wash your hands immediately after sneezing.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy Shabbat
